i have created a deaf chat room in Stickam - The Live Community. if you don't have the s/n in there, you can create one...it's free. after you sign up, go on chat room and look up deaf chat room. i hope to see you there
 
Look at my signature... Open 24 hours Guest access enabled and recommended to sign up for ID to view profile and picture of chatters.

It is all Flash based and have A/V features.
 
I have a web cam, but it's somewhere in storage. I don't plan on using it for a long time. Maybe, I'll hook it up when I return to Texas.
 
I do have a webcam, sometimes it is annoying to put on the flat screen because it might fell behind my desk!

Hmmm my webcam has a magnet base to stick on top of the LCD monitor. I don't know if all LCD monitors have magnetic metal frame on it.

Lucky you, my webcam is only a plastic attach webcam..
 
I never thought of a magnet! I should glue it on my old web cam! LOL! Mine is old. We do have a new one which is couple years old. I am not sure where it is! LOL! It is probably hiding somewhere in my office :lol:

As long it's a LCD monitor that has a metal trim or whatever to stick on. You wouldn't want to do that on a CRT monitor (ofc most CRT monitors don't have metal on it, it will ruin the monitor for sure. :P

Umm... a magnet might be bad. Some monitors are affected by magnets.
 
how about attach to other surface next to monitor? either on left or right side?

I think I just leave my webcam there the place it was, it's staying right now ;) Thank you everyone for the advices.
 
Yea ha! Mine is flat screen monitors and it has metal frame around it. I'll ask my DHB to be sure it is LCD or whatever. :)

My CRT died on me few years ago and tossed in trash. So pretty soon few more will be toss to trash! It take up so much space, OMG!
