Any of you ever wonder what the worst sound in the world is?

I hate the scratch on the chalkboard and it make my body shiver. Some road contruction. Someone whistle make my ear feeling weird.

The worse would be the hearing aid make the whistle noise that is really annoyed me. :-o

Trust Me On This

the worst sound in the world is Ashlee Simpson singing. i want to take two very sharp pencils and shove them directly into my ears when i hear her sing.

Yeah.. but whose voice that was on "supposedly" Ashley's Cds??? anyone know????/

thats it?

i am i the only person here with war experience? a baby crying is nothing compared to an rpg exploding a wall next to head. or the screams of your freinds as they realize the lower half of their bodys are gone. or a little girl whos arm is missing becouse she picked up a doll with a granade inside...

Umm... considering most of the people here are dhh, it would make sense that you are the only one, or one of the few with war experience. (Other hearies maybe) Duh.... if you are dhh, your hearing is not good enough to join the military..

Also, must you be so graphic??

Thank God I can't hear high pitch sounds like fingernail scratching on the chalkboard or baby cries. But I can't stand CHAIRS scraped on the floor, you know if you sit on it, push it back with your feet on the clean floor {{{long deep scrapping noise}} YIKES!!! :-o

yep deaf

oh yes, i am deaf 98 % deaf.
have you heard of northern irland? no one cares if you are deaf or not ,you still where shoot at by the british cops if you looked wrong.i have first hand experence of that.

have you heard of isreal?
there are deaf people in the miltary, most have desk jobs after basic training.a few like my self happen to stick out one way or another and get put in the feild.

what you see on the news in america is just the big hits .....you do not see the small ones like booby trapped dolls, bicycles, doors, and even candles at the temple.

it happens every day.
and the people here in america ,so safe and sound, think a cry baby is the worst.......................

I don't know about you all, but The worst sound for me, is the sounds of the gun going off shooting, and wars where they use machine gun's, tanks, explosions, bombs. The first time I ever heard a gun went off, when I was living in an apartment, I heard alike a fireworks shooting up in the sky, I went downstairs and saw someone getting shot right in front of me, I just froze! it was the frighten movement of my life. :Ohno:

Hmmm....wouldn't the worse sound be when you hear your own 'fart' going off in a roomful of people??? :laugh2:

Well, hearing nails or any metalic object going across a chalk board is terrible, even when scraping a silverware on a ceramic plate is just as bad, although, the worse sound can be when hearing some firearm or a bigger weapon such as a cannon, etc., going off during a fight, war...and realizing someone's life ended or serious maimed because of it!

Firecrackers are beautiful sighting. A sound of firecrackers scares me even I can hear in the distance over the street. Sometimes it bothers me to hear a loud explodes.

Anything really sudden and loud frightens me. Because of my synesthesia (I explain in my intro forum post), I get visual effects in my mind from it, too, and if it's particularly bad, sometimes I even get a white flash before my eyes. Thunder, doors slamming in the next apartment, sudden feedback on a PA system, anything exploding...very scary. :(

Ironically I listen to metal, which some would consider "ugly noise". The difference there is I know what's coming beforehand.

I don't mean just regular crying, I mean the high pitched screaming.

It makes me realize how dogs must feel when people blow those whistles.
