Another Vent from me

Ok, ladies/gentleman - I was going to announce this I am not appreciating what I heard. I am not "low-function" and why? I am over 30ish and lazy to write perfect paragraph in each threads. Well, I do understand what threads are about and I have no idea to write it down or skip it there to another. That is not mean I don't understand them. I mostly like post or write down as brief or short sentence in somewhere. My last study was in college as 2nd years and/within my study in school as general to advance classes. I am not happy what everybody think or guess who I am. I love to humor or talk regularly with real life people. Why? I am not appreciate people to talk online with other strangers about other people and that would include me. They not understand my odd language or short answer. Too bad for them to lose interest with me unless they sees me in real life and would fall in love with my humor or my comforable to them within my regular ways, If anyone don't, then don't put it as UGLY way to backstab or insults another people. I know I sometimes could be smart-ass or sometimes could be nice. it is up to everybody. Thank you!

i know exactly how u feeling -- sadly there are some ppl out there who seems to have a hang up with other ppl wanting to :gossip: and actually had to email someone to put a stop to this shit after learning what was going on and finding out things that was totally inappropriate to begin with -- even had put a "note" for all in my AOL SN to tell them to grow up :pissed: there seems to be no end to the neverending gossip that some ppl seem to like doing which IS in itself immature for one thing and annoying cuz they seem to get all the info wrong or whatever it might be -- sometimes it can get pretty bad and the only thing really that we might end up having to do is let them gossip cuz in the end they will find out that all their so called "gossip" was all wrong to begin with cuz they definately dont have the *whole* story -- right qq

as for ur being called "low-function" them idiots dont know u like i do and theyre wrong really -- i think its THEM that would be "low-function" if they would stoop down to THAT level :roll: -- YOU urself have so much common sense and wisdom much BETTER than them idiots! :D

MizzDeaf, you have nothing to defend or to feel guilty for--if they really didn't understand what you talk about, it IS their responsibility to ASK you for that clarificiation. Maybe if they did gripe about this with their friends... their friends should have told them that they only had to talk with you for clarification. It's how.. errr, gossip STOPS right there methinks. It doesn't matter what sort of intelligence we have... even the best math whiz or english whiz people can misunderstand or not understand something! Trust me. :twisted: But then again, we are all smart in our ways! No comparing there. Now and go honor yourself. You only have yourself to live with in the end. ;)

Flyfree, I just had to giggle at your comment about low function.. I can see how the mirror thing is working for them. They are seeing something in another person that IS within THEM.. not necessarily in that person. ;)

That was a good vent, MizzDeaf -- I know how frustrating that can be when that happens. I must admit it's hard to just shrug it off and ignore it, but it's the best way.

Howdy MizzDeaf?? :D Glad to see you here and talking about this. Great post. I can tell that your writing is making you feel insecure because the perfectionists are being an ass to you. We're not asking you to make it perfect. Don't do things just to please everyone otherwise you'd go nuckin' futs! Remember, you are who you are and don't let anyone ever change you. You are MissDeaf and we all know that! Cheers MissDeaf! And lastly, keep up with your humor! :thumb:

It's true, it never ends....There will always be some people who are going to act immature and don't have anything better to do<---( I always say that LOL )....

I personally never heard anything bad about you and I don't have any problems with anyone's post or their grammer either and who said we have to type our post perfectly for them to understand us? if they don't understand us, too bad! :fruit: ....

You're doing just fine, no one is perfect either am I....If they want to go ahead and gossip about someone , let them because it won't bother us! :grouphug:

Good vent there MizzDeaf and don't worry about what others think of you, just be yourself and that's all it matters..... ;)

oh wow..where did this come from?? I never seen anybody bitchin about you unless i missed it..come on..really, we still love ya!! nobody is perfect and i know im not, i fawked up a lot myself..dont worry about what others think, i just ignore them idiots who think they are better than you..geez i hate that kind of attitude thinking they are better than you, well they are NOT!..they are the ones who got problems! Cheer up, friend!!.. :)

I understand how u feel...sometime people are very :crazy: and always love to shallow for false :gossip: in order to backstab others...there are no point about it. My most important advice for you..."dont worry what people think of you, just be yourself." Im sick of alot people pressured me to do something in order to be successful when I really dont want to do it becuz of my perferance isnt match...so people need to grow up and respect one other....some people insult me I am just gulliable like sheep said obessed on eating grass without pay attention where to go..they didnt realize how damn smart I am...and I have better career and degree than them...I got some angry people darting me on IM..so ignore them...

:werd: i was thinking that last nite when i saw MizzDeaf's post and thought of my own dealings of gossipmongers and those who thinks they are so high n mighty and/or a ms know it all which are a HUGE turn off to me -- they obviously have nothing else better to do with themselves and it get to the point where it is SO LAME of them especially when i know they should be mature for their age but apparently some have proven theyre not mature for their ages :roll: *huggies*

Mostly of time, I never online to talk with them -- only my friends that went school with me. :) Another time, I would be boring and sit front of chatroom, watch they talk about but me talk -- no, ask my dear Fly Free..

You have excellent venting your emotions express feeling situation. My understanding, how much you felt that way. Don't let them anyone judge you what makes they think you're really quite LOW FUNCTION. Cut that crap.. Don't let them win over you..
You have beauitful personalities beside who have moral support w/you... No matter what you have!

Honestly, I'm not really good math at it and rest other stuffs.. *blah* Ain't interest'n all rest of kinds.. but I do love cooking and crafts. What am I woman for? ((chuckles))

You will be fine and still have wonderful friends who around you.... :thumb:

I am not good at math and sometimes my writing is bad. SOmetimes my handwriting is sleppoy too. I am not perfect either, it is not only you, some of us here aren't perfect...

LOW-FUNCTION...I just can't believe how long that word has been around...and how abused it has been. When people tell me they're not as smart as I am, I just roll my eyes, sigh and then start pointing out that NO ONE is smarter than the other, that we all are smart in our own ways...for example, while I may be smart in english, vocubulary and grammer, I don't know math as well as I should ...and I know many deafies that are GREAT in math...therefore, they're smart in their own way. Also, I know nothing about motorcycle engines, while I have a friend that is a maniac about motorcycles, and has been taking classes...therefore, he is SMARTER in his own way. To me, there is no such thing as LOW-FUNCTION.

My dear MizzDeaf, you are SMART in my eyes. Every time I see you, I love being with you, because of your intelligence, humor and charm. Period. Therefore, do not let anyone tell you otherwise.

I understand that you may have valid reasons for venting in your mind...however, it may only serve to make a bad situation worse. Yes, it's true that we have gossips in our midst, and we ourselves are gossips, its just human nature. No, no, don't tell me you don't gossip...I've been around you and know otherwise. Anyone who says he or she doesn't gossip, is already proving himself/herself a liar, period. We can say we mind our own business, and I know we all try to. However...however...unfortunately, because we were born and remain curious, we want to know. PERIOD.

So when we hear or think we have people gossiping about us, the only way to do is to...IGNORE it. Do not reply back, do not indicate that it bothers you, do not go below the belt, but IGNORE it. I know it's hard, we want to lash out, we want to hurt the person that we think is causing the gossip (it may be true or it may not be true), we want to straighten it out, get gossip out about that person...but it will only make a situation go from bad to WORSE. It could even lead to out-and-out war, make friends become enemies, foes become killers (yes, it has happened before and will happen again) and/or even worse, have DAD (Deaf Against Deaf) in our communites again. The other problem connected with that, is that it may not be the person that we think is doing it, it could be an entirely different person or worse yet, a COMPLETE MISUNDERSTANDING??? Think of the embarrasment that would come out of it all if it was discovered to be that very thing!!!! And guess what? The person who thought his/her name was being gossiped out will be blamed in the end.

Have you ever seen a duck swim out of a pond, walk a bit and then shake its tailfeathers? Did you know that ducks have waterproof feathers? Therefore, when it does that, its really spraying off the droplets left ON its feathers.

That's why my motto is...Be like a duck, shake the water off my back, and quack. It means, go ahead, I'll just shake off the gossip and go about my merry way.

You are right that everyone is smart with whatever they have knowledge, for exapmle, for me.. ... I am smart about Minnesota Legislature than US Congress (altough I know who represents Minnesota and some from some states but all).
