Yes, he has transcriptions of his shows and speeches.

His shows? What shows?

Speeches to what? Restaurant owners?

I'd venture a guess that you never heard of Herman Cain prior to his burst onto the political scene. And eating Godfather's Pizza doesn't count.

Having the ability to hear does not equate to having the ability to listen. I am from Atlanta, Cain is a "local". I am sure I have mentioned Cain several times before he ever came on the "political scene".

But that is just your usual shoot from the hip jumping to conclusions response.

You should probably stay away from casinos.

Newt Gingrich was my history professor when I attended Reinhardt College in Waleska, Georgia. I also knew him before he went on the "political scene". Now there is a guy, with baggage, and a PhD, that is smarter than many people will ever dream to be.

But you know what? Cain does not have that baggage - but wouldn't it be so cool, if he did?

No, I'm not. I am assuming they are telling the truth because the first two went so far as to leave a paper trail. Too bad for Cain that someone found that paper trail. I am assuming they are telling the truth because to think that all 5 of these women got together to conspire against the pizza man and he is the only one telling the truth is delusional. To assume that he would tell the truth about the allegations after he has already been caught lying about even knowing about the allegations is just plain stupid.

Kraushaar said Tuesday she did not remember details about the complaint and did not remember asking for a payment, a promotion or a Harvard fellowship. Bennett, her lawyer, declined to discuss the case with the AP, saying he considered it confidential. Kraushaar left her job at the immigration service after dropping the complaint in 2003, and she went to work at the Treasury Department.

Selective memory eh? Flip flopping on stories eh?

She initially said she would come forward if Cain wasn't holding the confidentiality report over her head. When it was discovered it was not Cain - but the NRA - they told her she could come forward - she changed her story and said she had talked with her husband and they did not want to get dragged through this again. Now, she comes forward and is claiming she initially did not want to come forward out of fear of retaliation from Cain supporters.

And now, for the hypocrisy, no details will be given because it is 'confidential'.

Retaliation from Cain supporters, or exposure that she has a history of filing complaints she later feels were 'minor'?

Herman Cain isn't even close to being toast.

oh that explains. Newt Gingrich is a buffoon who cheated on his wife. no wonder you're overlooking Cain's infidelity.

Just because you are from Atlanta does not imply any type of relationship with Cain. You haven't mentioned him around here prior to his announcement.

If Newt was your history professor, it explains why your knowledge of history is so sketchy and innaccurate. Baggage...that man is carrying a train load full.:laugh2:

Oh, Cain has baggage. And it is becoming public knowledge one victim at a time.:laugh2:

Your point? Doesn't mean that she was not victimized by Cain. There are a lot of sexist pigs out there.

Newt Gingrich for starter. and now Cain.

Any comment about Gingrich's affair, Steinhauer? Do you still respect him and idolize him?

And how about the horrible things he said about homosexuals a few years ago...only to discover his sister is lesbian?

Proof that he felt it better to give them money than go through the legal process. Does not imply guilt, but does not imply innocence. Since jobs are hard to find, I am considering becoming part of his campaign, then standing near him for a few minutes. Afterwards, I will ask for my "severance" pay from him.

FYI, and try to keep up with the facts, Cain did not give them any money.

Paid off or settlement is proof that a transaction took place in which someone was paid money in exchange for not disclosing the original complaint. Based on the history of settlements, it is reasonable to deduce that Cain did something that upset two employees, both of which received money to not talk about the incident(s).

I believe that public figures especially in a very public position as the POTUS (President of the US) should be held to a higher standard than normal. This is a position that represents the core values of the American public. Anything he (or she) does will be held against the entire country.

We have a right to demand disclosure of these types of allegations and seek the truth. At this point, pending further details, it is fair to assume that some (if not all) of what the 5 women have claimed is true (or at the very least worthy of investigation). Based on this logic, it is fair to assume that Cain has not come clean and has not given us full disclosure.

Thank you for this post. I have saying for years that POTUS Clinton disgraced the Oval Office and this whole country.

He didn't say anything about Clinton.:laugh2: Stop trying to insert your own biases into other people's posts.

Hey, King of Ignorance,
Proof that they wanted the whole incident to "just go away".:D

I'm almost sure there are people who what you to "just go away" and there are some that wish I would "just go away" but we ain't getting paid to.:(

If Gingrich and Cain were POTUS... would you say they have disgraced the Oval Office and this whole country?
