Why are there so many undiscovered singers in your neck of the woods? Didn't Clay Aiken hail from NC??

Well it's not that amazing considering that the speech therapy given to dhh kids, is essentially the same vocal techniques that actors and singers study.

I know this to be true, by experience. While I'm not blind in one eye, for whatever reason when I don't wear glasses, one eye does almost all of the work and so the effect is similar to being blind in one eye. Nobody discovered it until I was 16, and so even though I've gotten glasses and learned what depth perception is, I STILL have a horrible time with perspective in drawings, or even not running into things that I can't touch. ;)

For the first time, this past Tuesday, one of the contestants had a problem with an in-ear monitor.

Taylor pulled his out. It must not have been working or helping. It was the first time that I saw evidence that they actually got to use an in-ear monitor.

He didn't pull it out, since I'm a HUGE fan of his... Remember that he sang Jailhouse again, He was dancing all over in the room and when he jumped back on the stage it apparently fell out because I saw the box that was clipped behind fell off too, everything fell off just like paris when Ryan was trying to help get it back on her while she was singing. Things happen on the stage... The ear monitor is a pain but they all have to use it when they are singing. If you would go under Idolonfox you will see more information about it and see a video clip of what happen that night. Anyways who are you voting for if you dont mind... Whew Im glad Chris went home didn't like him and plus he had a interview this morning on TV, it basically told all of his fans that it was there fault and they didn't vote enough.... MAN he souldn't say that and no it's not the fans fault. I think its American Idol faults because if you do under that site I gave you, they talk about how american idol messes around with the votes and setting all of them up... American Idol at first LOVED kelli Pickler but look what happen to her, she went home. Got voted off. same with Chris. Yes I was Shocked becasue I figure that Taylor and Chris would be on the TOP 2. But I guess I was wrong. Taylor got a HUGE fan base going on in AL. He's at his hometown today, the MAJOR of AL gave him a KEY to the city. He's special in that hometown, special to everyone who is a soul patrol fan. We almost called him but we chicken out! lol But anyway lemme know who you roooting for :)

I was going to mention this, but I forgot. As proof of this, Brian Wilson is completely deaf on one side of his head, which is why most of the early Beach Boys albums were mixed mono—Wilson can’t hear stereo seperation.

BTW, when is this show on? I still haven't seen it.

That's nothing! Kevin Covais got a key to the county AND the next day was declared, "Kevin Covais Day." :applause: No one had talent that was true talent except Kevin. I KNOW talent when I see and hear it and none of the others had it. Taylor was already a professional working in the field doing this, so this should not be a surprise to anyone. The first time I saw Taylor I thought he sucked and I still think that. :thumbd:
 
I like Kat and Taylor equally...I hope that whoever wins that they carry the "Idol" name far and are successful. I think Katherine is more artsy and would make a better album and I want her to win more.

This thread is regarding Elliot. TH never had talent and I stopped watching weeks ago because it's so bogus. Keep on the subject, dear.

What does your last line mean, "Have a great day and don't forget your bedtime tonite . . . "? I'm not a mindreader. :dunno:
