A wonderful new about Prince Charles & Camilla

I forgive them for what they did to Di because they are human being with weak flesh minded. I believe in marriage and it comes with honest, loyality, honor, respect not with betrayal. I knew he loves Camilla before he married Di. It showed me he lied to her and rest of the world when he married her. That was wrong of him. For that he does not have my blessing esp when he will be a king along with Camilla stand by him. She will have her title when she married him and I felt it is wrong. But then again I am not an English and none of it is any business of mine.

i neverrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr like him!!!!!! i really miss princess so much!!! sigh!!!

Well, Prince Charles really want to marry Camilla Parkes-Bowles but his Uncle Mountabatten told him to forget her because she is not virgin, and Charles married Lady Di because of the pressure to produce a heir, and he still carry a touch for Camilla for many years.

If it wasn't for the Lord Mountabatten's interferring, the history might be alot different.

Princess Margaret want to marry a divorce man called Peter Townsend, the Church and Royal Family object to their relationship, and she was forced to give him up and find a single man called Tony Snowdon, their marriage is falling apart.

They are sad victim to marry to pleased the Church and the Royal Family, not to follow their hearts!!!!

Mountbatten was assassinated by the Irish Republican Army in 1979. Charles and Diana married in 1981. Charles could have shown some spine about his choice of wife if he really wanted.

Well said Tamara... It is indeed a sad way for them to go through because of the Uncle, but now it's their turn to get their love back together and live happily ever after. The Royal family should mind their own business and never mind about choosing people whom they should be with because now everyone including their marriage is corrupted. :aw:

When I watched their wedding, even than I knew diana was too hot for him. They should have never gotten marry in the first place or at least let some other woman put up with his ugly ass. This marriage will be made upon a dead woman's grave. Screw them both.

I guess the good news is that they are too old to have children. I can't imagine what that poor baby would look like.

Queen Won't Attend Charles-Camilla Civil Marriage Ceremony

LONDON -- Queen Elizabeth may have given her approval, but she won't be there when her son marries his longtime lover.

Buckingham Palace says the queen won't attend the civil marriage ceremony of Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles.

She does, however, plan to attend the church blessing following the civil ceremony.

Prince Charles' sons from his marriage to Princess Diana, Princes William and Harry, and Parker Bowles' children are expected to attend the April 8 wedding.

Britons Approve Of Charles Wedding, But Want William King

LONDON -- Britons say the man who would be king has chosen his spouse well, but they'd sooner see Prince Charles' son wear the crown.

A poll says 65 percent of Britons approve of the prince's decision to marry his longtime lover Camilla Parker Bowles.

But when it comes to Britain's next king, many people would prefer the job go to Charles' oldest son, William.

The survey, published in Friday's Daily Telegraph, shows a far higher level of public approval of the marriage than previous polls.

Twenty-four percent said they shouldn't marry and 11 percent had no opinion.

However, when asked who should succeed Queen Elizabeth, 41 percent chose Prince William and 37 percent preferred Prince Charles.

Nineteen percent said Britain should have no monarch after the queen.

Three percent are undecided.

Opposition To Marriage

At the Paris tunnel where Princess Diana was killed in a car crash, admirers don't want to see her ex-husband marry anyone else.

That's clear from reaction to the news that Charles will marry Parker Bowles.

One South Korean girl said of Charles, "He's so bad."

A tourist from Taiwan said Charles is disrespecting the princess' memory by marrying his longtime lover. Diana blamed Parker Bowles for the collapse of her marriage.

A British tourist said he would be "devastated" if Parker Bowles is made queen.

The royal family said that won't happen.

Right or wrong, the Briton says, people blame Parker Bowles for breaking up Charles and Diana.

Diana, her boyfriend and their driver were killed Aug. 31, 1997, when their speeding car slammed into a pillar in the tunnel.

I saw the Fox news other night. Dodi's father would like to re-open case about Princess Diana and Dodi's murder into a car accident. Dodi's father would not give up to struggle to find the truth if Princes Charles or Queen Elizabeth briary for murder Diana and Dodi.

Whoa ! We will see and wait for the national news annoucement.

Poor Charlie for not having his mother on his side this time.

 It's quite apparent that people know that trash smells.

As for the Queen, she doesn't approve of the Union. That's clear, but she knows she has to make a showing of support, so she's splitting the difference and attending the Blessing of the marriage. But believe me, The Queen does not approve of this marriage and never did.

Prince Charles and Camilla's story

Prince Charles to marry his true love

Thursday, February 10, 2005

[UK News]: IT is a love that has torn apart the royal family and divided a kingdom. It destroyed the fairytale marriage of modern times and continues to threaten the future of the monarchy. Yet, despite all the problems it has created, the union between Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles remains the one constant of the Prince's tortured life. For more than 30 years, through both their failed marriages and acrimonious divorces, the two have stuck together. Despite Camilla's unpopularity across Britain and among royal fans across the world, Charles has remained steadfastly loyal to his one true love.

It began at a polo match in 1970 when the Prince, then a dashing 21-year-old, encountered a chat-up line that has entered regal legend. Camilla Shand, 16 months older than the Prince, introduced herself with the words: "My great grandmother was the mistress of your great grandfather – so how about it?"

She was referring to the affair between Alice Keppel and Edward VII, a dalliance that in an era when kings and princes considered it a duty to have mistresses, never caused the stir it would three generations later.

While Camilla was by no means the prettiest girl on the aristocratic circuit, she was nevertheless good fun, self-confident and sexually easy-going. Charles was entranced.

According to his royal biographer, Jonathon Dimbleby, Camilla "smiled with her eyes as well as her mouth".

Had Charles pursued Camilla as his bride there and then, history might have been different. She was already seeing future husband Andrew Parker Bowles, whose family had long-standing royal links. Yet she was as drawn to Charles as he was to her. The Prince was then one of the world's most eligible bachelors.

And she was from good stock. Her father, Bruce Shand, was a decorated major with the Royal Lancers and a member of the Queen's household.

But Charles dithered. Royal observers say an old regal convention underpinned his hesitation: the tradition that princes must marry virgins.

Some blame his great uncle Lord Mountbatten for persuading him that a "bedded-can't-be-wedded" rule for women still applied to the royal family.

Instead, Charles carried on his affair with Camilla in secrecy, a pattern that would have tragic consequences in years to come.

Creepily, Camilla scrutinised Charles's prospective brides, including a young Diana Spencer.

Their affair continued right up until the week before the wedding and according to Diana, never ceased. A letter from Diana to the Prince's father, the Duke of Edinburgh, declared Charles was "never emotionally divorced from (Camilla)".

"Charles told me you said that if the marriage was not working well after five years he could essentially return to Camilla," she wrote. Long before the five years were up, he did just that.

As reports of their relationship breaking down surfaced in the media, Camilla was quickly demonised as the marriage-wrecker. She was pelted with bread rolls in a Wiltshire supermarket in 1993 – four years before Diana's death amplified her unpopularity.

There was a broad disapproval and bafflement at this older woman with questionable dress sense and bird's-nest hair – how could she have bested the people's fairytale princess for the prince's heart? Following Diana's death, Camilla's standing plunged in a nation seeking scapegoats. Her image never really recovered.

The more Charles attempts to bring Camilla into the fold, the greater the vitriol she attracts from Britons.

And her cause has not been helped by the Queen, who continues to ostracise Camilla and ignores Charles's pleas to include her at the family's Christmas retreats at Balmoral.

Charles hopes the April betrothal will change that. By legitimising his one great love affair, he hopes to smooth the way for his eventual accession to the throne. Ironically, it may have the opposite effect.

I don't trust Camilla. She will tarnish England with her reputation, if she becomes a Queen. I don't like Prince Charles' smile -- what a fake !

I would prefer for Princess Diana's 2 Prince sons' future wives to take a throne instead of Camilla.

I can't imagine myself livin' in England. *shudders* England is like livin' in hell with demons worshippin' their master. :-o
