I been a victim on E-BAY twiced. First i sold my disney pass cause a family member passed away. I sold it to this old bat who said the disney pass didnt work and it has been used.Well she kept e-mailing me about the money back and i refused to give her money back. She kept on e-mailing me for her money and i said no and i got sick of her so i blocked her from my e mail. Then that damn old bat got the police after me because i refused to refund her money and didnt belived her. So the detective told me if i dont refund her money he was gonna arrest me with criminal fraud. I told the detective well i bought the pass from a girl and found out i couldnt use it so i resold it and the detective said im gonna do the samething to her by making her give your money back. So they couldnt trace her so im out with $125! And The Second time i couldnt sell my satelite reciver and i tried twiced and No Bids. And E-BAY Said they charge me $7.75 for fees and i didnt even make any money. They said it will be deducted out of my bank account. Then i e mailed them and complaned to them i have not authorized you to touch my bank account. I went to bank manager and asked them to install a password and if e-bay doesnt know the password they cant get in.But Bank Manager told me they cant do that. So I e-mailed E-BAY back and warn them if they touch anything out of my bank account im going to the police and press charges for an Arrest for criminal fraud. If police says they cant do that im gonna say"" Well you threat to arrest me for criminal fraud why not arrest them on criminal fraud charges? And Plus unauthorize use of someone elses bank account which is a federal offense then i want the FBI involved.

You bought a pass from a girl? This girl could be con artist, and your just another victim, and this have NOTHING to do with Ebay.
Does not matter if you make money or not, Ebay have the right to charge you. That is because they give you space to rent for your advertising purpose. The advertising is NOT FREE!!! Does not matter where, when, why, how... the cost of advertising has been around for years! You asked Ebay to advertising for you, so you USED their time, and space on ebay, so therefore they have RIGHT to charge you. Same principle here, when you sign a lease with an apartment, you are RESPONSIBLE to pay rent even if you didn't move in there!

I think you need to get your reality in check! I am sorry to be blunt, I can see where the problem was. ITS YOU!

You sold the used Disney pass. that is not good so you ended up have to pay it back to the buyer since it no good. I have expierence with a bad product and got refund without any problem. The Ebay wont tolerate Fraud. Beleive me. You have been fraud by that girl. You should go after her not the Ebay.

I am an E-bayer! I would buy and sell down there! I have NOT had any problem with the system. I actually won bid on a vehicle, and am happy about it. It is just the way it is, you WILL have BIG problem if you don't go after that girl because you CAN be charged for fraud! Not by Ebay, but by FBI! That is because it is interstate sales involved, and failure to abide the cop will end up having US Marshal on your doorstep and arrest you for fraud. If I were in your shoe, I will cheerfully refund that money! That way, this would avoid having to deal with US Marshal. These cop are local, and have nothing to do with this BUT doing you favor by warn you.

I looked in Ebay seller policy. You have to pay the "Insert Fee" that is something you pay, EVEN if you fail to sell them. This also another fee, that I don't know if you used that, which is called "Reservation Fee" that is set fee which you have to pay EVEN if it fail to sell. BUT, when you sold the item, there is sliding fee on that transaction. So, there is at least 3 different fees involved. So, next time READ the POLICY BEFORE you agree to proceed.

Yes, I´m agree with diehardbiker65.

First of all you have to read Ebay´s rule.

I´m afraid yes, anyone has the right to demand their money back if they are not happy with goods. You have to check Ebay rule how many days buyers have the right to get money back from sellers.

Yes, you have to pay the charge because you want to sell the goods to make profit yourself.

Ebay rule: Fraud is not acceptance.

:( That happened to one of my best friend. He sold one of his item on ebay. He shipped to the customer and they email him back and tell him the item broken apart. He told them to shipped back to him and he look at it. Yeah it broke and he paid the money back to them.
You are the sellers and it was your responible for the cost or damaged. I brought the pass from the girl, then go after her. If you don't know where she located or whatever, then it was your fault. :(
If you end up in court, the judge will tell you to pay them back.
I know u :pissed: off about it, bad luck.

Well its your bank account. No one is allow to tamper with your bank acount than you. Thats where the FBI can get involved. 60 minutes was doing an investigation on E-BAY and Theyre under suvenlace by the US Goverment and by the F.B.I and the secret service. Belive you me all i have to go it straght to the police and theyre contact the F.B.I if they dare touch $1 in my bank. And the manager is gonna alert me if anyone touches my bank account.

I have been a e-bay seller and buyer for 5 years, and haven't had a major problem since. I have to cooperate with buyers and sellers. I sold a closed caption 4000 and it broke while shipping, I had to give him a refund, I saw the photos of it, it looked bad and it doesn't work either. I have no problem with the e-bay auction system.

Raven, you need to cooperate with the buyer and give her a refund if it doesn't sastify her, she's not getting anything for the money so please do something before FBI comes take you to jail or whatever. Fraud is a serious business.

You need to respect to Police, FBI, and etc. Ebay already post the policy and rules and etc for the seller or buyer to read.
If you break the rules, you may end up in prison or fines. The fines can be over 1,000 dollar. Just pay $125 back to the customer. It will save you your money beside $1,000.

To Raven

If you want my opinion, I think you goofed. How can you sell something when you are not sure it is any good? The "girl" you bought the pass from could have made it on her computer!

I have used eBay and so far, so good. The only gripe I have is those "fraud" emails I get from both "PayPal" and "eBay" trying to get my info from me. I know better and have blocked those crooks.

We have bought many items at ebay, no problem. We even bought a van from another state thru ebay; no problems.

It is important to follow the rules, read and obey the precautions, and communicate clearly with the buyer/seller.

Well,,E-BAY is not supposed to touch my bank account without my permission.Thats why i suggested the manager to put the password in my account so if they dont know it they cant touch it. So he said i cant do that.So i have no alternative but go to the police if they touch it.

When you post anything that you want to sell... You ALREADY gave them permission!!! Its right there, once you click submit, then your binded to agreement with Ebay. The court will look at it, and trust me, they WILL be on E-bay's favor! What more do you want from E-bay? The only thing that is gonna to hurt is yourself and your credit report. Once court had judgement against you, it WILL be on your credit report... Worth it? you decide!

Your funny about password, you already gave them password and they CAN read your password!

I didnt give them permisson. I ether give my account and routing number or i dont get in. I agree they can use my credit card like yahoo does but not tapping my bank account. So im still going straght to the police if they touch one dime of it. Im gonna make an issue if they cant do anything ..Ill just say,,Well you guys threaten to arrest me if i didnt give her money back now why not threaten to arrest whoever tapped into my account and tell them put the money back.

you read and clicked submit.. your loss...
I bought pretty much items.. some of them didnt turn out good but got refunded.. no problem.. you might need to RE-read the rules again.. and you bank policy or account.. (Paypal & etc)..
you better do something before she will go like this... :deal: summon you to go court..

eBay problems

(My opinion) is that it is easier to dispute a charge if you use your charge card. If you use your Debit card, -- well, I don't know because I never tried that. I hesitate to give out my debit card number over the Internet!

But if the product you sold was no good, you cannot blame the lady for being upset and wanting her money back.

Steve, if you put something for sale on E-Bay, even if you sell it or not, you have to pay for the service. READ THE DAMN POLICIES!!!

I still don't understand about the Disney Tickets. I don't buy much off ebay, but have gotten some good deals.

Either way, your gonna to lose anyway! If your going to make it harder for Ebay, and your customer, there WILL be more damaging to your reputation. STFU and pay back OR deal with legal consequence and the court CAN force garnishment on any way they seem to fit for them. If this goes though legal system, you will be ending up paying Ebay expensive attorney for pursuiting the payment due. PLUS that buyer, your gonna to deal with them or face charges against you. This will be far more damaging on you. CHALK UP THE LOSS and STFU, then LEARN DAMN LESSON.

What I see here is really laughable matter for everybody of us, and look who is sucker joker is? Not sure who is sucker joker? The answer is everywhere in front of your eyes. DUH!

It is not seller's fault if his good is damaged by postage shipping, the buyer accept the risk if its arrived in good condition or damaged!!!!

The seller must wrapped it well before posting it.
