You think that's funny? Not nice!
You said heart transplant is luxury.

You think that's funny? Not nice!

...(I had to tinkle)...and it was 3 or 4AM in the morning (after I got off work)... and I slept "all natural" since it was summer...and 9-1-1 was called...and my goodness...the fire department, ambulance and Police all showed up at my house...all the lights flashing...looked like Christmas....All my neighbors were standing around outside....
...I was a total wreck, hair sticking out and of course Nude with a sheet over me...
and
...memory I'll never forget.CPR is givin to people who are not breathing. If you're by yourself and you need CPR you're screwed cause you're not going to be able to call 911. I think his point was to know CPR so you could use it to help others.
I think the biggest problem, as Jiro was getting at, is that people are not properly prepared for common problems. Instead the rely on someone else who may or may not be available. There are only so many first responders and at times they can all be busy or to far away.
There was a case where a person called 911 for help and they having trouble breathing or talking and 911 dispatcher told the person to answer 'Yes' with 2 knocks and 'No' with one knock if he could not talk.
The person answered 'yes' and the 911 dispatcher send help. I know what CPR is and I knew what Jiro was getting at , and I agree with him .
But what the person that lives alone , there should be code so when a person does call 911 it should they live alone and need help right away.
I had a neighbor that was having a heart attack in the middle of the night and she when across the hall to get help from her friend but the woman was too frighten to open her door and did not think to use the peekhole in the door. My neighbor dies because she lived alone.
Rode in the back of a few ambulances...one was when I severely pulled my lumbar muscle in my back and could not get off the waterbed......(I had to tinkle)...and it was 3 or 4AM in the morning (after I got off work)... and I slept "all natural" since it was summer...and 9-1-1 was called...and my goodness...the fire department, ambulance and Police all showed up at my house...all the lights flashing...looked like Christmas....All my neighbors were standing around outside....
The EMT's couldn't get me out of the bed, so they slid me upon a board...put a sheet over me since I was "all natural"...and took me to the hospital....A very, very wild ride to the hospital....the sheet kept slipping off whenever they rode over a railroad track, or slowed down for traffic....Every move the ambulance made, especially the jarring around, was very painful...and most embarrassing too!...Hauled me into the hospital.......I was a total wreck, hair sticking out and of course Nude with a sheet over me...
Well, after I got that shot and a hospital gown...I was feeling "so fine"!...so that's why I....and

and my mom had to help me up to bathroom. took about 20 minutes just to get out
The time TCS and I were in a car accident, we had to go the hospital in an ambulance. TCS had hit the steering wheel hard with his chest and broke a rib and cracked his breastbone. He said the ride in the ambulance (only about a ¼ mile) was the worst in his life--it was like riding in a garbage truck. It was very rough. Ambulance bodies and suspension are not made for smooth rides.
I've ridden in ambulances three times, but I was sitting up in the back, not lying down. That's not comfortable either.

It's because they carry a lot of weight. They must have heavy duty rigid suspension.not sure why they don't fit ambulance with proper suspension![]()

No one realizes how much an ambulance weighs... they are extremely heavy, extra batteries, power inverters to make 120volts, all the equipment they carry and the body itself is hugh on that chassis. The time TCS and I were in a car accident, we had to go the hospital in an ambulance. What about a Hummer limo? They can carry at least 15 people and it's still a smooth ride. It's because they carry a lot of weight. They must have heavy duty rigid suspension.

I as a civil service employee with the government, was on the list for Police officer as well as #1 on the list for fire fighter. I was professionally trained by SLFD in Infant, Child and Adult CPR/First Aid, I was also A Certified Trainer. My license has since expired, but I have put my training to use a few times and its scary enough. I have also taught the kids at home what to do even my 3 year old son...lol and its kinda cool to "Play Dead" and watch my sons reactions and response. I have taught my daughter the same in the past. My wife was a scout leader in cubs/boys and brownies/girls scouts with her kids so we both know CPR/First Aid, just Im a bit more advanced, we had a few scares and my wife always lets me take lead since Im calm and blood/gore doesn't bother me...lol I even get to take care of all the boo boos the kids get...lol
They aren't tall enough for standing in.What about a Hummer limo? They can carry at least 15 people and it's still a smooth ride.
When if you are billed for the ambulance service, tell them that the ride was unsatisfactory.![]()

My buddy just installed all the wiring and gadgets as well as painted this one, brand new unit and its still a Tank.
This isn't the Ambulance, but its somewhere, I have to find it....
WTF? Looks like it has flat tires.oh it's kinda looks like this -

but the one in your pix has a beefier engine.
My point is that this limo has high-end shocks/struts that will give you a smooth ride. The ambulance trucks don't have that kind so that's why. It's like U-haul trucks. They aren't tall enough for standing in.![]()
