Sure sucks to see that the Indians aren't heading to the World Series, however, my hat's off to them for another long interesting year--well done!

Congrats to the Boston Red Sox and to all their fans--umm...have fun in the snow. (will be hard to find the ball in it-- ) :-X Also, good luck in the World Series.

I'm usually rooting for any American League team, however, won't be rooting for the Boston Red Sox, as Boston and the NY Yankees go a long ways on the rivalry over the years...if the Rockies can handle the likes of the Boston Sox big hitters, they'll be having the bragging rights once all this is over with.

As for all 'other' fans, the game can be an entertaining one on a boring night. Let the series begin...and best of luck to both teams!

Wonder if the World Series will be played in snow?? LOL I read an artilcie where Game 3 and 4 and also 5 will be in Denver... plus possibility of snow there.. ohhhh... that might be fun to watch ..

The Boston Red Sox do have history on their side, having won back in 2004 but I think the Colorado Rockies are destined to win ... I do believe in the Rockies, but have to watch how they do vs Boston.. hmmm should be a wonderful series...

Game 1 of the World Series start this Wednesday (Oct 24th) at 8 pm est on FOX! Dont miss it!!

Yeah, NS, four inches of snow fell on Denver (I think) yesterday or the day before...if the home plate area ices up, I can just see a close call there resulting in the runner (and maybe the catcher, too) ending up in the dugout. Lol!

My predication : Boston Red Sox and Colorado Rockies in World Series with Red Sox winning it all.

I wasn't surprised that Red Sox came all back from being down 3-1. Red Sox have lots of firepower. It was matter of the time that their bats finally came up alive. Amazing their leader hitting Ortiz was 0-4 yet Red Sox blew Cleveland out of ballpark.

Rockies may be good but Red Sox have lot of experiences and wont lose to inexperience team especially in World Series.

For all those counting on snow in Denver, don't get your hopes up yet. As far as things to know, Rockies and Broncos are both set to play next Monday night in Denver; so it will be rocking downtown that night. (the two stadiums are about 2 miles apart for those who do not know Denver)

I think the only way the Rockies can win this thing is to win three straight at home and force Boston to win 2 in Boston. The Rockies are 42-16 at home. Must be the thin air, lol.
