definatly.

Krull was awesome. Sadly people people give me a WTF look when i ask if they seen it. GREAT story.

and the last starfighter was one of the first uses of CGI in a movie. I was shocked when they never made a sequel to it. It was practically BEGGING for one.

My top 5 80's movies

1. Stand By Me
2. Revenge of the Nerds
3. Goonies
4. National Lampoon's Vacation
5. Short Circuit

I remember most of these movies in this thread. Heh! Goonies was a fun movie.

I also liked Beastmaster, Conan, Red Sonja, Firestarter, Starman, Neverending Story, Robocop, Beetlejuice, Star Wars, etc. Wasn't there a movie titled "The Boy That Could Fly" - ?

I must say, there is a quality that the 1980s had that is so appealing to me. I think it's the innocence in telling these stories through filmmaking in fantasy/sci fi genres.

Ghostbusters, Back to the Future, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Gremlins, Crocodile Dundee, Superman, Coming to America, National Lampoon movies with Chevy Chase, Star Trek, The Princess Bride.. all these were very much part of my childhood. Yeah, I liked Harry and the Hendersons too.

Must say, Willow is my favorite 80s movie so far!
