If the Malibu was pitted against the Brilliance BS-9, the BS-9 would be just a crumpled ball of metal while the Malibu may have like 75% of its steel untouched.

could someone explain what do you mean by uniframe? i got a clue its different from body-on-frame but still not quite sure, is it liken the crumpled hollow effect been dilberate anticipated when designing the car as frame/body working 'together as a whole on impact'?
much like when you fake an egg splat on a freind's head with bare hand instead of egg?
what im asking i suppose is, are there 'frames' hidden within doors as sandwiched metals?' but then again what about under of the car - no frame at all? how suppose to hold the engine/gearbox/trans?
