12 Classic Movie Remakes

Terminator, Logan's Run and Robocop!

I would rather Logans Run be remade first. I liked the original one. Now I want to imagine Logan's Run with 2010's fashions and trends.

However I should be thankful Im still past 30 years old (the age limit in Logans Run) :D
 
With the Terminator Salvation, it is planned for the next 3 trilogy of the Terminator saga.

At least I hope thats a good idea...Terminator 3 wasnt really that impressive.
 
I would like to see Logan's Run. Uh-oh, I have to run. haha

I would like to see a remake of When Worlds Collide. I would like to see the old version to get the idea, though. :)

Because those classic and original movies are great so they do not deserved to be re-made.

Also, you should notice that most remake of classic scifi movies have failed miserably lately and their reviews from movie critics have been mostly negative or mixed.

Of course I understand Hollywood wants to give them new look or wrinkles in their stories, but the question is why they are doing them while they are already classic and well-received?
 
WTF? Hollywood writers can't come up with original idea?? Fire them and find people who can come up with new idea Jeebus.

Makes sense. I feel the same in some ways.

There are some movies that couldn't demonstrate certain things very well due to the technological limitations at that time. Nowadays, we have the technology to make it seem possible.

Let's not forget... there are those who are young and can't quite understand those old movies.

Even when I watch some old movies, some of my young friends will watch them with me and say... "Oh, I don't get it." For instance, I was watching a television show on DVD. One of them asked, "I don't get it. I thought airports don't allow people in that area?" "Dude, this show is from the 80s when it WAS allowed." "Oh, well... it's not accurate. This show sucks!" :roll:
 
Its not on the list but I would like to see a remake of "V" the best scifi movie ever made IMO

the 80's original ones were cheesy but they were good during its time. I'd probaly definatly watch this.
