Re, NOT getting a CI Hi; Well, if the ear's natural cochlea is healthy, it seems a HA would be able to stimulate it. My problem is single sided hearing and risk of breaking the auditory nerve if they should try removing an acoustic neuroma tumor. I have NF-2.:shock:

Hi; There is a small plug in adapter for the 1 or two ring cord, mono to stereo; Or, stero to mono on both sides. It's about $5 at Radio Shack. Russ

Hi; I've had some experiences with Starkey/Audabel dealers. Seems they were territorial and made smart comments about seeing others, etc. When one is nearly deaf, they don't need a complicated HA. Relief was found when I returned to Mayo Clinic Hearing Aid Shop. Russ
