Does anyone know how Social Secuirty and Voc Rehab work with each other in the sense of helping disabled individuals receive assistance and benefits?

Is it me or has there been any other deaf or hoh citizens that have gone to their local emergency room or hospital for treatment in which they were denied a ASL/Oral Interpreter upon request?

That's great that you want to support your g/f who is deaf. My boyfriend does not have a hearing disorder in which I have since birth.
However, any deaf and hoh persons should be able to request a ASL/Oral Interpreter depending on their usual means of communication.
