You might be eligible for VP 100 though....ASL is easy to learn but.
I was just on VP site. All I gotta do is just fill out the form online and that's it? they mail it to me?
Yes, but they will organise a techincal staff to come to you to have the VP installed. But ASL is the priority.
Jiro, do you use other sign languages like PSE, SEE, etc?
No, they do not mail it out to you, Someone will come to your place of home and set it up for you, and explain to you how to use it.I was just on VP site. All I gotta do is just fill out the form online and that's it? they mail it to me?

if it's all free.... how do they make money?
Yes, if you are in the United States and your ASL is your first language, then you are eligible to get a free VP - 200 from them.

Then I must be wrong, I believe they have changed the rules to be more efficent to deaf and HOH, eh?
Since I have made this thread, unfortunately, I have bad news. The VP I got didn't work down here, I have tried everything, turns out that the VP might be a faulty.
In other hands, I still have a VP working, I bought a new (2nd) external webcam (Mircosoft LifeCam VX - 3000 - For now) which is hooked via my LCD TV and I have Viable Vision supported on my computer and it makes an excellent VP. So if anyone who knows me well, and I do know you well. PM me if you want to chat via VP (Will need your IP Address, I am the only way I can call you directly to your VP)![]()
I wonder if that faulty VP is PAL or NSTC. If NSTC maybe you can try adjust your tv to auto so it can use either PAL or NSTC. Just a thought.
