Great Movies You would Recommend Others to Watch

I never heard of that movie, I like Anthony in Pet Setemarty 2, that was a good movie, better than the first
It's about this man (played by Edwards) who does miracles. Suddenly, he's accused of fraud. Is he truly a good man or a fraud?

Another good example would be the Ringu series. There are 4 of them... Ringu, Ringu2, Ringu 0, and Rasen (aka Ringu 1.5). They were made in this order. I suggest you watch them in this order as well. Even though Ringu 0 is a prequel to Ringu, it would spoil Ringu and Ringu 2. Rasen is interesting because it looks at the curse from a unique point of view. ;)

I already watched all of those and own Ringu 1 and 2, also a Japanese novel ;)

Did it have the part where they beheaded the TV journalist and stuck it on a stick?

TV journalist? I don't remember that they put him on the stick, except for the chief of the prison, is that what you mean? My DVD cover say it's director's cut..

Is Pet Sematary 2 is a great movie that you would recommend others to watch?

I don't know, I have to watch it, do I?
It's up to you. I would recommend it since you like Anthony Edwards. It's a comedy/drama.

I never knew who he was when I saw the movie. I recognized him when I saw Revenge of the Nerds a few years later. I then recognized him again on ER on television. :)

Maybe, it was the chief of the prison... I haven't seen that movie since 1995. :dunno:

I guess you do have the director's cut. ;)

Some people have never seen the director's cut, so they don't know what they're missing. ;)

ER rocks, I have all the DVDs of ER with Anthony Edwards

Ok, I'll rent it, If I find out the first one was better than the 2nd, I know who to run after.. it'll be you. :rl:
You might like the first one better. Everyone has their preferences.

There are some people who don't like ANY sequels. They are only easily amused by the first of the series and ignore the rest.

There are some people who think that sequels are better. They are easily amused because "It's a sequel... OMG!"

Then... there are people who have different preferences in movies in series. Some prefer the original. Some prefer sequels.

For me, I'm the third... I prefer some originals and some sequels. I usually prefer the original when the story is original, but get a bit disappointed when they change everything completely with different concepts and different actors/characters.

One good example would be Highlander. The original was the best. I also liked the sequel, Highlander II. However, the rest were completely off the point and made no sense.

Another would be Batman and Batman Returns. Both were dark (as Batman is originally shown in the comics) and had evil villians. When they made the third and fourth movies, new actors were added... Batman had too many accessories... and there were too much color. That ruined the series. :(

The only way I would watch a sequel is if the original characters returned from part 1 and if none of them returned, I am not interested because it is not the same without the original characters

Ohh since 1995?! Wow that's long ago, I would recommend to watch it again, it's worth it to see over and over lol :D
