Pacific Northwest is stealing the heat from Arizona

Its 7:17 am and it is already warm!! Yikes! Not used to seeing hot weather in NW this time of year.

Im flying out to Nevada and Northern Arizona next week for a 10 day vacation - it better be warm by then! :fingersx:

Good luck on your trip to the Southwest!

yeah and it's cool here as it is only 70 degrees today? few nights ago it was 42 degrees?? WTF? it shuold have been in 70's at night by now and 90's by middle of the May. It is not so.

It is due to La Nina, thats why. cold spring, and summer will roar in like a lion?? jeez, I hope not! ha!

we had tornadoes, snows over foot, lot of rains .. indeed its been wacky spring!

Really I am not complaining cuz I love cool weather! I disliked Summers! grrr :P

Well in Vancouver, Washington, it's 83 degree! I went to the food store and came back to home sweaty already. I get feeling that tomorrow would be 93-95 degrees here, depends on the winds and clouds.

Sequoias, be glad it isn't going to be that way longer like it is in the South/Deep South. I hope there won't be any tragedy up there.

Gotta add this - The humidity is always bad here in the south as well. That's something I'm not looking forward to.

Northwest USA is less religious version of South now. :)

Haha, Brian nah it will last for about 2-3 days max. It's gonna be really hot in Oregon and California, too. It's going to be in 100s in many spots in California tomorrow.

yep seqoias isn't kidding.. it was up to 95 degrees now still hot 93 degrees here in san jose will be 99 degrees tomorrow ugh... but thank god for BUSES with AC on lol... ;) but it sucks I have to deal with taking buses to starbucks coffee for deaf social tomorrow nite in that kind of hot weather yuk... but at least I will be  til the temps start dropping on sunday ;)

Bwahahahaha, we stole your weather except the storms and humid.

It's 78 degrees at the moment and its unbearably HOT here on the coast! I can't wait for Sunday when we are going to be in the 60's!

I guess the heat-low is affecting everything even at the coast. That's like mother nature is laughing evilly!

Yeah, something around that for sure. :)

Northwest USA is less religious version of South now. :)

Pacific Northwest has the lowest number of religous people in the whole US.

Of course, my parents are gonna be sweating real bad over there, too! I bet they decide to go swimming for sure. ;)

Yup, that right but I was thought about northeast USA, lol.

I was teasing about you and others are feel like in south with less religious at similar climate.

Well, Flagstaff is mountains. Not the desert bottoms. Arizona actually has lots of mountains and elevations.

I guess you cannot call the weather police...
I don't think nature would react kindly to being forced to put everything back.

Hehe.

^^ LOL! Weather police.... now that's something new! How about handcuffing those clouds and throw them to a jail in the clouds?

What was strange last night was that I went down to the beach at sunset to have a bonfire with friends. It was windy and cool on the beaches but when one walks into the dunes it was warm.

There was a 10 degree temperature difference.

Oh really? That's very strange, indeed!

its already mosquito season here and its worse due to all of the floodings.. :(

I was right!

Friday, May 16, 2008
By Laura McVicker Columbian Staff Writer

Are you ready for the much-anticipated scorcher? If you thought yesterday was hot, try today.

The hottest weather of the year starts just in time for the weekend with temperatures peaking at 94 degrees today, according to the National Weather Service. Sunny, warm weather will stretch into Saturday and Sunday, but temperatures won't be as balmy. The high Saturday is expected to reach 87, and on Sunday, it will be 78.

And when it's time to go back to work, it also will be time to put away the sunscreen. With highs in the 70s and 60s, temperatures will be closer to average on Monday and Tuesday. Partly cloudy skies are also expected.
