I am! :D

But i'm not in realistic technology. I love to create many ideas for science fiction with imagnary technology. ;)

i will call that, beautiful geek couple. :nods: ;)

I'm a geek. (Webster: --slang-- any person considered to be different from others in a . . . bizarre way. . . .)

All editors are word-geeks.

I'm also geeky at word-processing, and dig deeply into intricacies and sub-levels of Corel WordPerfect and Microsoft Word, the college standards.

I'm a gun geek, mind full of the most minute details and trivia of civilian and military guns from 1288 to present. Did you know the Lewis and Clark Expedition (1804-1806) carried two muzzle-loading air rifles of at least .30 caliber to hunt food in case they ran out of gunpowder? Did I mention history geek?

Are you familiar with the open-source software, Open Office? If not, you should give it a shot. You can find it at OpenOffice.org.

If you are on a Mac, NeoOffice is basically a port of Open Office but it is OS X native meaning it's built for OS X. You can download Open Office for Mac too. It can be found at www.neooffice.org.

Thank god for open source softwares.

Let's see: Wikkipedia geek (I adore reading it for fun), book and knowledge geek, editor geek, just a geek in general. (except for science and math) Is anyone else a Big Bang Theory fan? It's a geek sitcom and it's hilarious!

Banjo - OpenOffice is a good freeware software, I had to download that software since my microsoft Office 2007 got locked. :(

I forget to add HOH GEEK too. My bad! LoL Deaf & HoH Geek are welcome for discuss in general.

Would I be considered a geek - not to be called as a nerd, I hope not.

It's different mean. Geek is newest than an old nerd. Did you know geek is popular in America because of high technology. The geek people are smart about computer, video games, cellphone, arts, and etc. It's very creative on invent and technology. That's nothing wrong with word GEEK. it's not bad thing.

I used to be a nerd girl when I was in 5 grader because of 90's style suck! When I'm growing up to adult and turn to beautiful in style and cool design.

Technology Junkie? Does that count?

I have too much technology, my wife screams!

I have fastest wireless, dual monitors, two videophone, 6 mbps Internet (comcast), wireless mouse, blackberry, etc..

I am addict to technology.

True, very true.

I know about computers, cellphones and the newest technology, I explain about it if someone doesn't know about these such as the VP's in Australia :ugh3:

Medical geek. I grew up around hospitals and medical things in general, so its probably natural that I developed a rabid interest for it.

Not a geek here, but I know two deaf guys who work for IMB working with computer. They have to be some of the brightest people I have ever met. :)
