Best video chatting program? (free)

Camfrog is a very popular program, especially for folks in Europe. I've been using it without any problems. The free version allows only 1:1 contact and the upgrade allows for 100, I think. Camfrog has thousands of video chat rooms.

ooVoo allows people to leave a one-minute message. I expect ooVoo to become popular quickly as they're offering free telephone calls. ooVoo allows 6 in a teleconference.

A friend just told me about SightSpeed, a program similar to ooVoo. They tell me that its video quality is better and lets people to leave a 30-second message.

I'd rather have ooVoo over SightSpeed but from your explainiation about ooVoo, it is correct. Sightspeed doesn't have these options, that ooVoo have. :deal:

I had a chat with Mikel (WW64) for a while and it was good. But unfortunately, it is time for me to head off for the night, but I would like to arrange some more than 3 person conference one night, where it can be suitable for everyone. I just wish MSN would let me connect video - it would make everything soooo much simpler. Theyve appearently released a new version of MSN as Ive had a pop-up come up about it when I logged on to MSN.

Sorry I missed you Jake - its been one of those days. No it wasn't my wonderful drama queen cousin by marriage- it was the company idiot today along with a hispanic woman who quite literally shovelled her work over me to do on top of the junk I already do. :roll:

I had a conversation with WW64 this morning (U.S time) and it is free of charge. That can't be. You just need to press one of us and press to do a "video conference" (Ingore the NEW feature of the phone)
 
Are you on ooVoo now? Of so lemme grab my camera to try it out. The reason I asked was because I got an email from ooVoo in my inbox saying - 500 free minutes of ooVoo and I was like WTF?!! I thought it was supposed to be free.

Unfortunately, I can't = My firewall kicked me out when I try to log me in when I am at work, but you can try and use my MSN, but I don't have a webcam though, you can use it to test it out. Can you also forward that email to me - I will PM you my work address in a minute

EDIT: FYI, I am on ooVoo but for Chat conversations ONLY.

Please note that in regards of the 500 free calls are for voice calls ONLY. Video conversations are free as always

Time for me to give up on the damn camera! *chunks camera out the second story window*

I went to test and the thing jams up AGAIN! Then ooVoo quit responding and so I closed it out and now it wont reopen.

This SUCKS!

I think I need to sell my current laptop and get one with an integrated camera so I dont have to hassle with the connecting and bullshit.

Hey i have been curious on what happened, just try and log in again. :) if it is cauing it trouble. You have the second opinion ;)
