Best video chatting program? (free)

I have tried using my webcam to start a video chat in various programs including MSN, Skype, AIM, and ooVoo.

MSN doesnt let me connect the video
AIM doesnt install on my OS (Vista - gee imagine that)
Skype is not deaf friendly as it requires sound for it to use the video portion
and ooVoo just wont let me connect in general.

So please if anyone out there has a suggestion, throw it out as it can't hurt to try. And oh yeah Im using a Logitech Pro for Notebooks webcam, says it is compatible with MSN, Skype, AIM, and Yahoo!

I will try one more suggestion, if the final attempt does not work I simply will not be video chatting with any of you. (sorry) but when its this ridiculous, you have to draw the line and hang it up.
 
How come that oovoo won't get your webcam connected in general?
 
Try worldvuer.com?

Or ViableVP?
 
Jake when I went to create the ooVoo account it would not let me connect at all

Why? It should be a password problem, maybe? Check your email for your email validations too.
 
Skype?

That's odd that Skype wouldn't work for you... Skype does allow for audio and video... your webcam should pick up the audio without any problems, not that you need it maybe, but it doesn't hurt anything.

Well I got the ooVoo to connect finally, but Ive uninstalled Skype and AIM. Im keeping MSN as the majority of my contacts are there.
 
I hope but still havent tested the cam on it yet as I dont have any contacts on ooVoo.

Yes, you will get my profile added to your list, it is the same way as MSN does. I will accept your invitation when I re download the ooVoo later on. :D
 
So I just need to download oovo that's it?
 
appearently so Shel. It didnt take long to download and install. Hopefully this time tomorrow night I'll be video chatting with someone.

you can talk like MSN conversations, if you don't want to have a video conference -- Dixie, what is your username?
