My son and I left fitness studio to go car parking last night. I drove backward - suddenly hit other car. My back of car is bit scratch and hit to scratch front of other car where it parking. Can you image how I feel when I hit other car... ? It got me shock and nervous.

I notified the parking car liescne number and went to fitness studio to ask for which car belongs to. The manager was like "what's happened". I showed him what and how I hitted other car. We went back for look and the manager asked everyone for car and number... One man raised his hand and said it's his car and asked what happened. The manager told him what happened. He was like *speechless* and check his car. I was nervous and said to him that I am very sorry that I damaged his car and willing to accept my responsible to cover the cost of his damage car. I was about go to my car to get insurance paper. The man stopped me and said we do not need to exchange our insurance paper... and explain that it's minor... just spray to cover those color and said to forget about insurance and :ty: for my honestly and go home to enjoy my evening and forget it. He is an unbeleivable friendly man. I was like *speechless* and :jaw: Normally anyone would report the police and then demand the insurance to cover the cost for repair but he doesn't... I was like "Did you know how much it cost"... :eek3:

Have you experience to deal with anyone who has a good heart like this?

In fact I was coming off the highway ramp to the traffic light, and stopped on red, a van was coming down the ramp behind me, and bumped behind my car It wasn't real bad it was a little bumped, and I got out of my car, and looked behind my car did not see any damage, He got out of the car too, and we both did not see any damage but he was willing to call the police, I told him nah don't worry about it, there's no damage so we don't need to report it. He repeatedly asked me if I'm sure?, I said Yes, I'm sure, don't worry about it. and He gave me a hug. :giggle: Then we drove off our separate way. That happened a couple years ago. ;)
 
Wow.. glad to hear you are ok.. It happened to me few years ago.. a drunk driver didnt stop and rammed into my 1990 chevy cavailer.. I had bad headaches and whiplash so i was taken to hospital by ambulance. They checked me out and said my potassium was delpeted. so i had to take shots and pills for it.. I never forgot that day..

ironically that the drunk driver went to the funeral that day for a friend who died in alcohol related accident. Friend was not drinking but other driver was .. dang.. the drunk driver's insurance paid my hospital bills and my car to be fixed and ambulance's bills too. I paid nothing as I was innocent! so it worked out really well but my headaches (Meniere's Disease) never went away.. it still annoy me today... :(

Ich ueberrasche mich, dass Du mit deinem Sohn zur Fitnessstudio gehst. Das finde ich ja toll. Meistens den Sohn will nicht mit der Mama zur Fitnessstudio gehen. hehe!!!

Aber andersmal Du passt auf gut auf, sonst Ich mache mir grosse Sorge um Dich. :)
 
Liebing, I understand how you feel about crash a car. You are lucky that a man didnt call police or exchange insurance info. I am glad that you are okay.
 
I'm sorry that you went through that upsetting experience. But it is good to know that there are still kind and understanding people out there. Lucky you to find one when you had the accident!

Sorry Liebling, u arent the only one having luck with cars....my hubby was in a car accident yesterday..he rammed into another person's car but luckily the lady was nice to him and didnt call the cops on him. His front bender is damaged...

Glad the person was nice about it.

Some states have a minimum damage requirement...such as $500. ...before need to call police. Exchange insurance info.
Sometimes the 'hit' driver has no drivers liscense or insurance and wants to avoid everything.
Old cars? little scratches and such happen....ain't worth the time....zooom gotta go
 
Sorry that you went through an upsetting time with your car and am glad that man say don't worry about it. That was a relieve and you are very lucky. Some people can get very mad to see damage on their car.

Well, I am opposite to what had happened to you. My hubby and I went into a market to get some fruits & vegetables. After that done, we went to our car and I got in my car and notice a note tuck under the windscreen wiper. I read a note and it said one of their children open their car door and hit my car. It said where about on my car it hit and made a stratch to it. They left their address and phone number on the paper as well too. My hubby and I had a look and it was just a very small chip on the paint which is not worth worry about. Just as we about to get into the car, a muslim family came to us and said that they are sorry about what happen. They also said they offered to pay for a damage on my car. We told them not to worry about it cos it is only very small chipped and my car is old. It was good of them to let us know with a note as many people wouldn't bother if they did a big dent or little dent.
