Pit bulls kill miniature horse donated to cancer-stricken child

Waht a sad story. The owner of the dogs should be subject to some sort of fine or civil action that would require him to come up witht he funds to replace the horse that his dogs killed.

I find his brother's statement regarding the way the dogs were raised to be irrelevent. It is well documented taht Pit Bulls have been genetically bred to emphasize those agressive chatactersistic. They were oringially bred for the purpose of fighting. The only way to alter the genetic characteristic of agressiveness that has been bred into them is to spend years breeding it out by crossing them with dogs of milder temprement. If you choose to own a dog that is bred to be agressive, you are obligated to insure that the dog does not have an opportuntity to hard another animal, or God forbid, a person.
 
That sucks. I'm sure I will get attacked by pit bull owners but I still don't think anyone should have those dogs as pets. Yeah Yeah, I have heard all about how it's the owners fault and not the dogs but how many times to you hear about poodles or even german shepards or dobermans that get loose and maul or kill. Not many but how many pit bull stories do we hear about?

I concur! What if the boy was out there at the same time? The brother's statement was a cheap shot and shows how irresponsible his brother was. If he truly had been going crazy trying to find the dogs, he would have been out there all the time looking, not just when a reporter came by to cover the story. Dig deep, chump!
 
If the dogs did jump over a 4 1/2 ft high fence, they should get those metal spiked fences like those around graveyards so if any dog is stupid enough to try to jump, it'd put itself into a graveyard.
