So you have sympathy only for some animals. The big, brown sad eyes of a cow before death aren't the same as the big, brown sad eyes of a deer. The body of a domesticated chicken hanging upside-down bleeding out isn't as sympathetic an image as the body of a wild turkey hanging upside-down bleeding out.

Don't you realize the animals killed for the butcher shop are just as dead as the animals killed by hunters?

Yeah, there is a difference. But the difference is not between the hunter and the butcher. The difference is between reality and rationalization.

they are G R O S S!!
I will eat canned tuna. I dont mind frozen chicken/beef strips
for stir frys though..

yeah, I do not eat meats from canned... :barf: but I only eat tuna with water (without oil) from canned.

Oh, haha, i know...puke! Yeah, i like only tuna in water but
i had to fight with my hubby over oil and watered tuna, geez.
He prefer oil in his tuna and i told him many times that it is not good for
anybody to eat with oil, ugh! He finally relented and let me buy
tuna with water, and he was surprised that it tasted good without
oil...whew! lol!

Thats right, my hubby has license to hunt for whatever he wants only
whatever is in season, much like your state.
He does take care of small game like partridge, pheasant himself but
deer he takes to the meat processors like i said.
Oh yea, i forgot to mention we have our own dehydrator too to make
our own deer meat jerkys...oooh they are delish! i love jerkys! Sometimes
we buy beef brisket and have the butcher sliced it real thin and we use
it for beef jerky too.
Right now, my hubby is fishing for brown trout...so far we got about 8 or
9 trout in our freezer..hehe. We will get some shrimp and grill trout and
shrimp on the grill for 4th of July...yum!

I said the same thing about you in other thread because you claim you are a ...... which I do not claim that I am a vegetarian and kill animal for the foods.

I didn't say anything about you being a vegetarian. I'm saying there is no moral difference between eating a factory farmed turkey, and a hunted wild turkey.

Hate? I never said anything about hating the animals that you eat. I'm not talking about developing a personal relationship with your food source.

Cool! Hubby just made a batch of beef jerky last night. We don't have any venison right now, so he used lean ground beef and spices. He's going on a driving trip next week to MI, so he wanted to have some "munchies" to take with him, and to share with his family.

He uses the ground meat, puts it into a gadget that looks like a cake decorating gun. It makes neat shapes for the jerky, and when it's done it looks exactly like strips of jerky. The difference is, I can eat it without breaking a tooth. :lol: It's more flexible. Also, he mixes in the spices very thoroughly with the ground meat. When he uses strip meat he marinates the meat overnight before dehydrating.

Canned meats aren't wonderful, that's true. But we keep some in our pantry for emergencies, especially during hurricane season.

Maybe a webmaster stole this picture and changed it to a different filename on his own website. Or, he has friends who are the hunters and took the picture and put it on his website for them as friends. He thinks that it is a cool. I hate him. I hope that the deer bite his balls real hard at the last minute so that he will not have a baby hunter. It would be nice if the deers raped them really hard in the woods that make their ass painful sore.

yes, I been try but..... Also you mention killed and rape by same hunter. I don't remember. Must be try block courrupts between person and hunter group.

One of Hubby's appointments canceled today so he was able to come home for lunch with me. On the way home, he stopped at the Buffalo Grill and picked up lunch for us. We had Buffalo burgers with pepper jack cheese, crispy onions, lettuce, tomato, and chipotle mayo sauce. Mmm... :P
