 I don't know what to say, for one thing for certain I'm none of those people who want the shopping stores to meet their demands, I also do not become aggressive if the stores don't have what I'm looking for, There are many times they were out of icetea makers, I don't throw a fuss about it, I would just always come back and double check again to see if they have it in stock. No big deal if they don't. People out there needs to chill out because seriously it just show a case of mental issue. ;)

This is why alcoholic egg nogg exists. I think alcohol is the only way most people can tolerate their in laws among other things. Of course, not everyone is nuts like that, I'm not... I've yet to see anyone go bonkers ... then again I live in a small town. Maybe if I visted seattle on black friday~!

Christmas used to be cool and about having an excuse to buy someone a gift you wanted to give or just plain getting together with the family. For most people nowadays, the ones that fall under the sterotype -- it's about buying their brat 7 year old the latest and most expensivest toys. Buying your 16 year old daughter a 500 buck ipod and cellhpone. Beating the living crap out of a 20 year old guy who has a ps3 just so your son can have one for christmas and for a moment he'd actually care you'd exist/like you. I'm guessing on worst case scenario. Alot of people nowadays have lost sight of what the meaning of holidays are about, in my opinion anyways.

Actually.. Sort of.. Christmas whoever alike scrooge doesn't want anything shop.

Honestly Business really loved *christmas venture went high volume* due their expense pocket flies goes out...
Beware of credit card eat your life!

Just I want simple buying christmas max 50 bux per child.. and have 100 bux boxing day what their wish list.. Let's go and have fun shopping boxing day but hate heavy traffic bee swarming crowd in the mall!

I've noticed how shoppers and employees become assholes more often than before. During Black Friday, one employee at Walmart told everyone that they were out of 1 GB USB flash drives. When I walked around to the other side of the counter area (this was the electronics department), I noticed a box full of them. When I asked her what those were, she looked at the box... looked at me... said, "Uhh... I... umm... I dunno." I then told her that I wanted one and she reluctantly gave me one. Before that, I was at Target with another friend. He was looking for a particular digital camera. He asked an employee if they had more and was bluntly told that they were sold out. He walked away sad and another employee approached him asking him if there was something he wanted. He told the employee what he wanted and explained that they were out. The employee took him to where the first employee was and handed him exactly what he wanted. Of course, on the floor next to the first employee was a pile of the same digital cameras.

... Those people make me sick. I bet they wanted to ebay them to rip other people off. You know what? Christmas should be changed. It should no longer be about buying people gifts but MAKING someone a gift from your hands. Be it macaroni picture frames or a keen bead necklace. Take out the greed and put in the love people =D!

:laugh2: ~ quite good one! er um, are you considering this one?

Why not? Within reason it's a great idea. It would not only teach your children the value of making something with their hands, it would be a learning skill and a gift made by someone you love is far more personal than a spruced up ipod.

Hand-made things are the best. Hand-made flies (fishing) Knives, wood cabients, bead necklaces, needlework, sketches, fishing poles, coffee mugs, clothes (chicks LOVE making a fashion statement, if it's unique and not tacky they'd die for it) all these things are awesome.

I suppose buying gifts, within a small spending limit would be fine too, but the main reason behind it is to teach your kids principles and values, an apperecation for hand-made things and the fact it's the THOUGHT that counts, not whether they end up with a new ps3 game system, ipod, 500 buck gift certifite for victoria's secret, cellphones etc.
