Shock News, need to share my feelings about it.

I was very shock since I called my mom to wish her a happy birthday today, but she just told me bad news, I was like what. I can't believe it!

My cousin, Austin is only 16 years old... His mother(my aunt, my dad's half sister) allowed him drive her van which he don't have license on him. Somehow, police officer pulled him over and he decided to run away and speed up to 80 miles per hour, they been chased after him for awhile until finally caught him. He was charged for fleeing and alluding a police officer. Then, a couple months after Austin caught with 400 dollars and a whole lot of marijuana packaged for selling and scales to weight it out, so he is being charged for possession for marijuana with the intent to deliver it. Right now, he is in Children Village which is a kid jail. He is staying in the Jail until he becomes 21 years old, he will get out of the Jail. And, even he didn't go to school for couple of weeks when he was 14 years old... And if he is not in jail and still go to school, he will be in 7 grade! He's only 16 years old, it's sooo embarassed me and my family....

I know it could be private in my life, but I just felt to share with you guys. But no bashing, everything... And, my cousin Austin who is 16 years old which is STILL KID! Because he isn't reasonbile at all!
 
aww i am sorry to hear that. You are not alone. My uncle is in prison because he is sex offender that would embrass me and my family also. Our family don't like talk about him live in prison for 46 years. He is only 34 years old.

We cannot expect all family be perfect. There have White or Black sheeps.
 
I am sorry to hear about Austin's situation. Wonderin' where did he learn all this things from, if ya know ?

I know there's no perfect for everybody. But I was pretty shocked... When my mom says bad news, I was like Holly again? My half sister, she was in the jail many times. She said it's not her, it's Austin and I got shocked out of blue... Wow, he was an angel when he was young, but now changed... No wonder, I didn't see him last June 2006... :ugh:

Ohh Dont be embarressed... Humans arent perfect...

My uncle went to jail for assaulting his ex wife... that was long time ago... in abt 1980's. Now, hes drinking plms... Oh well.. my family and I tried to help him but he dont want to help... We have to let him go... Hope hes ok ...

Sorry about your cousin Austin. Yes it would be a shock to your family. One of my nephew has been and done prison for drug dealing about 15 yrs ago. He was a young man back then. It was a shock to us family and of course, we are angry that he got involves in drugs. Now he is so much better and clean cos the prison farm did works for him. He was made to work hard and busy. He came out of the prison farm looking suntanned and fitter.
Hope the prison will work for Austin and make him a better person when he comes out, just like my nephew.

Well, Actually He asked for it and broke the state of law...

Yes, very embrassement role of your relatives' replution.. Important Give'em learn their lesson!

I'm not alone..
so am I... I don't feel ashmand about my older son because he did broke his breech probation 5th times and end up staying jail.. I've been there and several times by warned but nothing do with him.. He kept ingore our rules follow and go forth involved his peers teenagers. I've already looked his eyes and knew he's feel bad.. Too bad.. He must learn his lesson and will not do it again.. Seems by now he improved little bit and take slow down until he'll smarten up...

Nobody perfect like you as everyone same thing..

Be try remmy that "Black Sheep in full white sheep flock" as same thing as condiser a family members!
 
Don't be embrassed!! My former husband arrested few times and tooo of drugs and abused me and went to ER hosp 2 times. His familys and relatives was embrassed and bad label. Let him learn lesson. Deaf commuinty and churches stared him look bad of his family were an christian. I filed VPO against former husband. He broken rules from VPO. I called police and arrested former husband.

Agree with you of all, Everyone no one perfect! I dont blame you for that.

I see. Umm, he will outgrow of it when he gets older or somethin' will hit him hard to wake up and change. Who knows ? Just give him lots of love and support when ever you can. :hug: Hang in there !

Sorry heard about ur cousin's situation also is he will go to court or will send prison till 21 year old which on his's bday get out ?? it's not funni about that damn it.. and Hang in there.. i know that you been shocked news abt ur cousin's being jail for that..i m sure he will have hard long way his's lesson
 
I´m very sorry to hear about this. :( Yes you has the right to share your vent/rant your feeling out with us if you want to.

It´s very sad that your cousin is only teen that he can learn to improve his mistake next time... It´s unfair to treat him as fully adult... How do his parents feeling about this because it´s them who offered him to drive without liescne?

*sigh* I know... You are not alone... The family on my side is black sheep... Oh well... They have been trouble with police in the past...

My Dad is former gambler... and was in jail ...
My mom is an alocholic...
My one year younger sister is died of drugs last May 2006
My brother was in trouble with police when he was teen.. .now he is successful businessman...
My younger sister has problem with her personality disorder... problem with relationships... she is solo and 33 years old.
My niece and nephew were trouble with police.... Niece turn good person but nephew still have problem with his personality disorder, too.
and go on... Dad´s famiy side is well-known black sheep...

See, I came from bad background family... (neglect, abuse, etc.)... I forgave my Dad after 10 years no contact...

I built my new life with my famliy here in Germany and positive our life ........
 
I'm so sorry, no body have perfect family. My family not perfect either. I have bad and good family.
 
SH, I hope your cousin will be okay. Sounds like his mom wasn't doing him any favors either. Just let them face the consequences of their actions, and they'll be okay and be better people for it. I know it. Unless they choose to be victims rather than owners of their circumstances afterward.
 
I am so sorry to hear about your cousin. My cousin was sick man after he got hit by a car and spend years in and out of state hospital because he was stealing from people's stuffs. It was hard on my aunt and uncle, felt so bad for them. so I do understand where ur come from and let u know ur not only one to deal with it. Pray for him and hope he will find right path once he gets out of system.
 
I am sorry to hear about that, Sweetheart.. :hug: i know how you feel. my family have been in trouble too... :( so you are not the only one..

My brother Freddy is in Federal prison for being a drug dealer.. he was caught 4 times.. for drugs and numerous charges.. like not paying fines and not comply with the court etc.

my nephew JT was in jail before.. for speeding .. and leaving the scene of the accident. not comply with court .. and not paying fines too. now he is married and have 2 kids.. he is working too.. he changed alots since then..

my nephew Jeremy was in prison for being in trouble with drugs and not paying fines and child supports. (still messed up.. oh well)

my nephew Ryan was in jail few times.. not paying fines etc. Now they have a warrant for his arrest for not comply with the court so he prolly will be sent to prison.

My niece Trina was in jail for 3 months last year for stealing stuffs at JcPenney's and was on probation but off now cuz she got GED. Now she got a job.. her own apt.. and she is preggy too.. she got out of it so thats good.. I hope she will remain that way! I pray...

My nephew Danny was sent to prison .. he was sleeping in van when his friends went in someones house and steal stuffs.. someone called cop on them.. Danny was caught in wrong place and wrong time but still he sent to prison for that. he was innocent.. now he is assistant manager at Mcdonald's is married and have one son.. I am proud of him!

My sister Jo Jo.. she was in jail for 4 months 2 yrs ago.. then halfway house for one year.. and was on probation.. now she is off.. but shes back on drugs..she lost custody of her kids to their father. now shes getting them back but i think she will lose the custody due to her still on drugs. its pathetic! :(

so you see.. we do have dysfunctional family.. LOL... what can i say?? heh..
