Gallaudet Protestors Arrested

I guess they might have to spend a night in jail or during the weekend
until their parents fly way over there to get them. Plane tickets are expensive.
 
arrested number steady at 135 cuz ryan commerson, one of protest leader and known well for strave protestor at mich, tell dps to stop more arrest cuz vans already ran out plus more than 130 arrested, thats enough...

arrest drama is over, final total in arrested is 135... chris corrigan made bailed out, now ryan commerson told all protestors in one half of 2nd wave and full 3rd wave to block all gates once again

No, students arent worn out, DPS are cuz they arrested and carried 135 students who are arrested into van... Students just getting tired and colder since DC weather advisory abt freeze during overnight, so I am sure all students will set up bonfire to keep themselves warm during overnight...
 
These protesters have a lot of energy, and they won't give up till they accomplish their mission. Finally, people standing up for what they believe in. I don't see that much these days.

These students did a great job tonight, they were all cooperative and peaceful. They allowed the cops to arrest them without resistance. They allowed themselves to be dragged off to the police station. They sat there and protested for what they believe in.

I'm standing with the students, faculty members, alumni members and everybody involved with this protest. I believe they are doing this for a good cause. It's to protect the future of the university.

The incoming president has proven herself to be incapable of leading, she had months of many opportunities to prove it but she didn't take that chance. She failed to convince them that she is the one to lead them.

It's not just an university, it's an educational institution for the deaf. These people truly care about the university and will do whatever it takes to preserve it.

At first, I was saying the same thing with you. Until, I talked with many of friends of mine. Now, I understand their point of view. Jane is disqualified to become a president of Gallaudet. Wow, she has alot of nasty attitude with Deaf Schools and Deaf Community.

I doubt that the students and staffs will be tolerate with Jane's attitude to work with her.

I can understand how much the students are extremely furious and upset with the Board of Trustee appointed a wrong person. Jane has no explore into the Deaf Community and understand our true culture. If you grow up in Deaf School, Deaf family and Deaf friends. Your roots grow thicker and longer on the ground. You will understand what we went through struggle and oppress from the Hearing world.

No, I disagree.

I think it actually helps getting their attention gathered more in the media and everywhere. JKF doesn't want media attention because it usually helps protests, I'm merely sure.

As long they made a peaceful arrest. And $50 charge per arrest isn't that much a deal for the most. They will get by the help to cover it if nec.

Thus that makes Jordan looks more bad and one-sided along with her. So those two are "losing" and they should know it by now, I assume.
 
To add something bit...

What did Jordan hope to get by calling the police to arrest the protesters and expect it to die by itself. No way, they won't till JKF resign officially. He just wanna get rid of them to reduce his stress, I guess lol.

Jordan will be out of the office in less than 2 months therefore he cannot do anything more in power to help JKF once after his office expires on Dec. 31.

So that will leave JKF as loner to stand off with a much larger community in protest therefore she will lose. It will overwhelm her soon enough, supposedly.

She has awful small numbers who stand side with her. She is really a mindless leader who doesn't know any better than Zinser did. As you many should know that Zinser is a successful leader at UKy because she is a great listener which JKF really lacks of. That is the BIG reason we don't want her to lead as the Gally Prez... forget it!
 
I only pray for them to allow school classes and cafeteria to stay open for chrissake sake. They better do that. Education and food comes first. They still can protest while in their free times between their classes and nights.

They eventually don't need to lock HMB and cafe in order to help their side, anyway. I don't really think so since so many ppl do support them and keep fight on peacefully. They will likely win.
