Some dental offices will actually pull your tooth for less...my first wisdom tooth that I needed pulled, I was in between insurances as I had taken on a new job and was waiting for their insurance to kick in but needed my wisdom taken out NOW as I was in so much pain...they pulled it out for only $40. Also....dental schools on some university campuses have student dentists that will treat your teeth for much less since they are students...it is better than nothing...

So...yeah.

But the bottom line is..if you can't afford to take your kid to dentist but make too much money for Medicaid...well...sometimes, Medicaid will not cover YOU but will usually cover YOUR kid because kids are more important...at least that's what I understand.

In some states Medicaid will NOT cover dental care for adults, but WILL cover children up to the age of 21 for dental care. Texas is one of those states.

So's FL. There's a program within Medicaid called... Medi-Kids. They offer a wide range of services for children that aren't offered for adults.
 
arkansas have medicaid programs for kids.. called AR kids A and AR kids B

AR kids A is full coverage that will cover everything from dr to dentist to eye dr..

AR kids B is parital coverage for kids who parents doesnt have insurance on kids but have JOB. so the parents pay co pay.. thats it!

I can´t say anything yet until I get mother´s side first and find out about her background then I will know more. I hope they will update this case.

Can you care to explain me what MEDICARD is? Is it special for poor people who can´t afford to insure health insurance? Government pays for them or they have to pay themselves? If they have to pay... then how much per month they have to pay for MEDICARD? If people who work, have to pay their own health insurance instead of use MEDICARD? I remember some Americans mentioned MEDICARD in their posts... until this thread here... I need to make sure either my question is correct or not.

I would be appreciate if you or anyone answer my question here.
 
I voted no because it was neglect but his mother need responsible to make them to brush their teeth about 2-3 time everyday to pervent cavities and rotten, also need give a limited with kind of food, including limited soda too.

Yes, it is for low income insurance, I have Medicaid myself, although it does not cover dental care. It does cover most other things though. Government and taxes pays for it.

Ever Heard of CO PAY? Thats Bullshit..Medicaid is NOT FREE!!! I suggest it could be that a mother can´t afford to pay dental care for her son? As what you say that Medicaid does not cover dental care... How much you have to pay dental care if you visit dentist regular for the check?

Some people, like myself, have NO co-pays. But when there are co-pays, it is very low...$1 to $5 which is much lower than if you have insurance from your job or whatever. It's not that bad. So...CHILL.

And I do have quality doctors.
