Anyone does any Volenteer work? I used to work volenteer as a High School Football Referee.
 
I just volunteered last night at a
Club in DC during special dinner event
for the brainstorm/feedback/rapport
to help these Board Trustees to
figure out who would be a suitable match
for hiring as the perfect candidate.

It's funny and ironic
when ONE of these BOT trustees
overlooked and "under-rate"
my Special Skill to have a keen eye
selecting who is an ideal person for
that particular top position even though
we both happen to be eating at the
same dinner round table.
Boy, I can NOT stand him at all because
he seem to be so BLIND and
very Egotistical himself so I refuse
to give him the name of person that
would be an ideal candidate UNTIL
I report it to the entire BOT members
they all LOVE my idea/suggestion !!!
That's my special contribution toward them.

Of course I refuse to let him "steal
any credit from me". I am so Glad that
all of these Board Trustees recognized
my special skills. Of course, I wish
this is my Job on a daily basis.
I enjoyed very much doing that
kind of thing. That's my own bag.

I used to volunteer to work teaching all special needs clients... It was wonderful experience,,, Right now i am volunteering to work with elderly at nursing homes .. they all are deaf...I am also on a Board of Deaf Senior Citizens... i have to be at meeting tomorrow... once every month at differnt places.. other places once every week.. i enjoy working with them
 
I never volunteer for anything. I always do work that I get paid for. It is better to get paid for my work plus feel good about it afterwards because I helped that person and got paid for it.

Deaf Senior Citizens are one of
my biggest concerns for the future !

I worked for the National Park Service in 1989. It was one of the most interesting things I have ever done.
 
I am currently volunteer work as equipment manager at MSSD fball for home games only also sometimes basketball home games during winter season...
 
I do volunteer by fostering the dogs and cats. Now I dont do dogs no more due to the reason last summer. So I will do the cats and I enjoy every minutes to save the pets lives.

You can have a job and earn money and do the volunteer outside of your job. Volunteer is a great way to expeirence helping out lot of things. Dont be such a greedy person for crying out loud.

There are a non profit orginazation that would like to have a volunteer that you can help out and not only that I am sure ppl will look up to you for your work and pride.

Consider that please.
 
I used to have an intern and I end got a wonderful job with excellent salary and benefit. It's like I got a reward.

Check back later. I need to scan something which explains it in greater detail, but I don’t have a scanner right now. My hard drive crashed last week and I had to buy a new CPU. Unfortunately, I can’t find the disc that contains my scanner driver, so I’ll have to use my wife’s scanner at our other house.
 
I do volunteer work for:
Political campaigns
3M Golf Championship
Jade Foundation
Sometimes at my college events
did some volunteer work before, forget what I did.. it was years ago
 
I did volunteer before but its been awhile ago. I have volunteered to help build Rose Parade floats twice and volunteered to do computer work at a Goodwill deaf class--it was fun meeting the deafies there.
 
Are you talking about CA home for the deaf? (CHAD)
