Hi, I would like to reduce our monthly cell phone plan bills.

We have been with TMobile for several years.

We have been using a family plan, but we have been paying too much - almost $200 per mo. I want to change to individual plans. Is it possible? I would like to see a new bill - Sidekick data $29.99 / mo. Blackberry Unlimited $29.99. Basic Plus - 300 minuts $29.99 Under the same account so that my kids would be able to use it for voice phone. We pay month to month now, but would we have to sign one year or 2 year contract if we change the plan?

My husb uses Sidekick2 and I use Blackberry 7230. A part of my pager is broken and I would have to use it more manually, but it still works. I want to keepas long as itworks.

Can I switch the pagers later and be able to use the same individual plan/ same contract when it finally breaks down?

If I was you, I would go see the sale resp. and ask them a questions that you have asked in here.

I am planning to change my cellphone and I have few question but I would need to see the saleperson. :D Good luck!!

I'd suggest you get out of T-Mobile's service and find a much better family plan elsewhere. The only reason I can see you sticking with T-Mobile is if your husband absolutely refuses to change from the Sidekick 2, which would be a terrible reason not to save yourself a boatload of money a month. Even saving $10 a month would mean $120 a year, and I bet you can save more like $50 a month = $600 a year. $600 a year, or a Sidekick 2? I know what choice I'd make, on top of getting better coverage.

That said, individual plans with 2 year service agreements would save you the most bang for your buck. Two $29.99/month Blackberries from Sprint and one cheap Fair and Flexible phone would save you almost $100 over your existing service. WOW. I haven't seen T-Mobile's phone plans, but my wife and I have Sprint and we together would pay $65 a month before taxes.

I think T-Mobile has a phone plan that can be shared by everyone. If they have that, you can probably keep your Data-Only plan along with the rest of the family sharing everything else and still keeping it cheap. :dunno:

you might want to check out on Sprint since they low the rate plan. It's bit cheap than Verizon by use with unlimited minutes at night from 7pm to 7am.

My daughter close friend got me on his family plan with Bell. I use Palm One Treo while he and his girl have cell phones. My husband is on my daughter & husband 's family plan which are cell phones with Bell. They all switched from Fido to Bell that has a better plan and much cheaper.

Thanks

I had one of my lines in process of being transferred to Sprint using flexible and fair 29.99 per mo. I learned that My husb can keep his sidekick at 29.99 per mo and I keep my blackberry at 29.99 both thru TMobile. As for our hearie teens they will continue w/ pay as you go.

Thanks for your suggestions. http://www.alldeaf.com/images/smilies/ty.gif

If you mean replace your BB with a new one, and keep the same plan, then, yes you can.

You may need to see your TMO saleperson for SK2/3 for the $19.99 a month for data service only. I purchased the new SK3 for my wife and I pay $19.99 monthly:not $29.99. I wish to puchase MDA or Treo 750 but too expensive data service...

I have never seen a $19.99 a/month DATA ONLY plan. The only way to get a $19.99 data plan is to add it to a voice plan, which usually starts at $29.99 a month, so you'd add $19.99 on top of the voice plan.

Hmm... Treo 750 isn't here yet?

Yep, I told the salespersons that I found the competitive price of SK3 for $225 and $19.99 data service. They accepted my generous offer, or maybe they do it for my sake of my deafness...
