It is more than that, very long story that you don't know.

WDYS is biggest factor that caused many members left this forum.

I did tell the old man , sorry can't hear you bec of my ear infection LOL He handed me a business card :lol: he does massages :rolleyes: he was just doing business the wrong approach :lol: too funny for the moment.

If you mean me you're wrong . I changed my mind b/c some people might had been offensive to the story I was going to tell about a dirty old man at was a bus stop .
He was a very dirty old and I had to move far away him from while waiting for the bus . He was wanted me to go home with him ! CRAP! I was in my 20's at the time .

I never thought people would read so much into me posting a . when I decide not to post my comment . There was no way to rephrase what I was going to post about the very dirty old man at a bus stop.

You've posted a lot of the "." lately -- you're just trolling at this point.

And, again, as far as thinking twice before you post - you would do well to remember that before you start making fun of people with Alzheimers (like you did with my dad) or telling posters how much you hate them.

Well then maybe instead of putting a . all the time either pony up some money to become a supporter and you have the ability to delete your own posts- though I've no idea if that is a feature here anymore- or actually type something out like "sorry, changed my mind" or "whoops didn't think that was appropriate".

Putting a . only gives a STRONG impression of being passive-aggressive whether you meant it to be or not.

I'm not saying about you are part of them so I can't discuss about this matter.

In fact, AD forum has lost several members weeks ago after situation with WDYS so you are not one of them, anyway.

The admin/moderator deleted her posts that offended to anyone so that why you don't notice.
 
Her posts don't bother me- it's the ad nauseum of what's posted at times- plus people will have different interpretations. It's not the only factor either as to why the forum is less...much less active these days.

I don't bother with the ignore feature- for one when reading a thread it disrupts the flow and potentially could miss something (so as not to repeat something an ignored person said) and two.. "keep your friends close and your enemies closer"- no way I'm letting anyone say something and get away with it.

She isn't completely contributed to decline of AD forum, but many other forums went downhill since FB allow anyone to create a group to socialize, admin mismanagement of forums are part of reason as well.

It isn't first time for AD forums to face the crisis, it has been several times. I remember about big incident in 2011 but I wasn't here due busy with school, also caused many lifelong, active members to left this forum. Technology section, formerly video gaming and computer section used to be active until FB social groups become popular.

I don't want to say about more detail because I don't want to be direct involvement in those situation.

I m sure.. her posts were TOO frequent offensive for years. I assume that I wasn't there at this time that her posts could be worse. But on facebook, there are several groups that their posts are way worse than here in alldeaf. alldeaf is like rated-PG. ha

What you said about dirty old man is okay for this forum. No one is offended. lol

Yeah that b/c I didn't post what the dirty old man said to me . I was :ugh: and moving far away from him hoping the bus would come fast and that he didn't try to sit next to me . I would had gotten off gone back home!

AD forum isn't vicious as Bubbleman forum (defunct) and some FB groups, but they have problem with favoritism from admin/moderator, that where some members got away for breaking the forum rules. It may not affect me or you, but it does hurt other members very much.

Most internet are suitable to over 13 years old, except Nintendo and child friendly websites.
