What did you learn today?

I learned about a theater called "The Annoyance Theater". Actually spotted it while stopped at a light, and saw the interesting name. Wonder what they do there? :hmm:

I learned that SVRS now has photo contacts. That's a neat feature they have, and I think it's pretty cool. :D I also saw the new text feature they have for ntouch PC, which was previously only available on mobile VP's. Things are looking good, indeed.
 
I was talking to my husband about his truck getting broken into the other night at the gym. He still uses the club anti theft device on his steering wheel at the gym. Truck was alarmed, his lunch box was under the back seat with his jacket covering it. He remembers a guy sitting in a car next to him and he thinks that guy had to be watching him. He actually almost wrote down the license plate number because he thought he looked suspicious.

I hope the guy thinks it was worth it for the whole $20 he got.
 
Today I learned how to fly a Parrot AR Quadcopter drone. :lol: (I still need lots of practice.)

I googled the images of this. Why it does not look like a helicopter? It looks kind of weird.

"Quadcopter" (or sometimes quadricopter) means it has four (quad) equal rotors.
 
I just learned a good friend has cancer, but what kind exactly, I do not yet know, but it's related with blood clots and the throws. Not sure what that is.

Possibly. His fiancee contacted me late last night, just before I was to call it a night. That news wasn't what I wanted to hear, either, because the timing of it is really bad.

Yeah, so am I. It's the second time he's had cancer in less than 5 years, and he's a friend I've known a long time, and let's just say that he's not wanting to get it taken care of. I do not yet know how long he has, but I'm hoping to find out sometime today. Dealing with this hasn't been easy, and the timing really sucks. :| Makes me wish I had a friend I could talk to, cause I can't do that here.
