it's your choice to do that and for government? the cops will ticket you. simple as that. this kind of system (having it done by private mechanics) in NY saved NY state lot of money. that's why NJ exempted motorcycle from inspection requirement and lessened inspection standard. as the result - it saved NJ several million dollars or more. they'll just collect in more money when cops ticket you for equipment violations. :lol:
 
:dunno: I never been stopped for equipment violations. I have been stopped for just one violation and it is one of most common offenses and that is called Speeding. That, I lost count of how many times I get speeding tickets, and how many times I have been letting go which was most of the time. LOL I quit speeding already. I no longer see the point of speeding.

one day. the point is - you can and will be ticketed for equipment violation at any time. and it's not a loophole. it's just not aggressively enforced or monitored.

Yes get you for speeding, no lights or too dark tint on windows, but as far as emmissions, they dont know any more than how many hairs are on your ass, unless of course they do cavity searches on you whenever you get pulled over?

They can get you for loud exhaust which is usually just the 4 banging rice burners with fart cans on them. but as far as standard vehicles with no cats/mufflers, a po-po wouldnt know shit, they arent mechanics and never had one get under my car/truck to check either.
So, depending on what youre driving, how much attention youre attracting... thats on you. Suk to be you then, out there screaming " I GOT A RICER " so if you get a ticket, its your own fault for being loud and obnoxious and rather silly too.

Right, but my understand - state troopers and local police officers can ticket for excessive smoking as well.

Same in Alabama, they killed safety inspection in 1960s and rely on police officers to ticketing for equipment violation.

There is price list for traffic violation and just print it if you plan to visit our state.

Im watching a show now about the ice age, we are due to be in it in the next 30 years but say its retreating instead...why? Not from pollution, as global warming...Guess whats causing it? All the concrete, land being covered in concrete and asphalt, floods are due to no soil for the rain to seep into, just piped to the rivers that cant normally handle that amount due to excessive water from run offs in subdivisions, super center parking lots...ect.... Ha !

usually from burning oil, it creates a hazard where people cant see the road or you ( if its your vehicle smoking..) otherwise the little bit produced means nothing. Lets say you come from a non emmission state and travel to an emmission state, does that give them a right to ticket you..hell no. Even if they did its a waste of taxpayers money as it will get thrown out as soon as the judge see's that you are not from the area and exempt by your state... so it boils down to the cop or trooper being an asshole with nothing better to do than generate revenue.

I think they exempt for commercial heavy truck and I was behind of it and they exhausted a lot of gray smoking and running slow as well, so I have to pass on them.

I told drivers to respect commercial heavy trucks, including semi trucks because they are freight and deliver food, medicine, clothes, electronics, stuffs. I noticed some drivers recklessly around semi trucks that cause a big mess.

Yes, my car is registered under Alabama so no states could force me to perform the emission or safety inspection, but... Feinstein may demand my car to get emission inspection in California and let her to stick up the emission.

Well, What does the vintage muscle car of 1970's, emits raw exhaust gaseous smell like? I bet you love to smelling raw exhaust gaseous. I talk about the car w/CC that I use to sniffing exhaust gaseous that emits from tailpipes, if raw exhaust gaseous smell except cloud of black, white or blue/white, that indicates hollowed cat converter

You can do it. Take a steel rod ... a section of rebar works well ... drive it through the cat one end to the other a few times till its opened up then take a straight pipe and put through the cat then put it back on ;)

wrong... geeze dude. If its tuned it doesnt smoke, get it right.
If you are a ASE or whatever with automotives you will know what Im talking about.
No I dont like the raw gas exhaust, you cant breath, but if tuned properly you can never tell there wasnt a cat.
Bring me one, give me a few days and come tell everyone what the difference is ( make sure to make a video before and after ) Hate to make you look bad as you obviously dont know.
