Late deaf and lost

As for the cyst...when the doctor closed off the left ear...1-2 months later, I got a cyst behind the ear, very painful....did the removal in his office...oh my!...and immediately put me into the hospital for 2 weeks...another surgery....bacterial infection, guessing from the cyst, but it's not clear yet. These types of cysts are dangerous...and deadly!....

Ear drops and infection meds have not cleared up the infection...even surgeries....

No. My doctor put me in the hospital for a week of IV's.....and when I got to feeling better and not so weak, then I had the surgery and spent another week in there....The cyst has not came back but I do have so much scar tissue behinds my ears. Don't want to go thru that again!
 
Sorry to hear you recently lost your hearing. My hearing loss was the result of a car accident a few years ago. There is nothing that can be done because of the head/brain trauma. I am now learning sign language. HELP!
 
I'm in the same boat - Exact same situation (car accident that lead to total deafness). It is absolutely a challenge!

I am learning online if you want we can work together via Skype or something. Deaf leading the deaf....humm what can go wrong? :D my family is learning together and we are using lifeprint.com
