Correct on both counts. There's a lot to be said for me being smart and all that, but I'm also a smarta** sometimes, and when people make me mad, I give it to them straight up-- no beating around any bushes. Now, I don't do the smarta** and straight up part too often-- I prefer to be laid back and flexible, and caring. I only get mad in certain situations, which is to say that doesn't happen often, and my staff know that I am the least likely person to be violent, so they are more comfortable around me than most people.

Steaming MAD. The Metra went express on the commuters, and there was no announcement, and I didn't get the e-mail until 4 MINUTES after it went by. Now I'm riding the #151 bus all the way from Rogers Park to Union Station.

Yeah, but it's a 61-minute ride, and not one I'm thrilled about.

we had 3hour traffic jam in our town this week of cause no cops came until someone got run over...eventually community cops came who got hardly any powers and not clue about point duty Took retired 80yr old woman to show him:)..it was bizzare watching elderly lady with her shopping trolly standing in middle of piled up junction doing traffic duty showing cop what to do and the old gal got traffic moving..i hope someone took pic put it in local news
 
Feeling crappy, but will not let it rule my day.
