Yes, he's a detective. NYPD arrested him for breaking SUV window. It has nothing to do with not wanting himself reveal who he was.

Wojciech Braszczok, a 32-year-old detective in the New York Police Department who was off duty at the time, is allegedly shown on a video smashing the rear window of the Range Rover as it drove amid a sea of motorcyclists on the city's West Side Highway, according to the official. That video is now in investigators' hands.

Ok, im sure his boss is pissed off already that he didnt report to his boss any soon about this.
 
I can't believe this cop was the one who broke the window. At first I thought he was just in the group and didn't want to blow his undercover status. He is a criminal and should be punished.

Yeah, I can't believe it, either. How stupid of him.

Obviously there are more than one video so that makes it easier for NYPD to find out who the thugs are.

Well, I remember the media saying there were 5 cops and as best as I could ascertain, only one was an undercover guy.
 
Very disappointing. Especially them saying the one that broke the window was the one who probably started most of it. We'll see if he'll be as seriously charged as one of the bikers would have been based on him being a cop. :roll:
