Is it Society that push for pregnancy or is it biological urges??

About pregnant women especially those made the choice to have babies as solos...

I believe its not a 'biological clock' that makes the choice, only except its the clock for fertility, i believe its social values that compells them to do 'normal' things like being a mother...whether they married , coupled or single...
i think its society values to blame but the biological urge...
what you think?
now to those are able to cool off or are men haters, dont you start snarking at me, i'm merely just raising a discussion not a fight ok?!

Biology. It runs across all species or we would all be extinct.
 
I think it was more about society with our mothers and more biological today.

huh, which one


oh...on a hindsight, do i sense that youre saying back then it was more in control and the existence of family planning was not needed ...and now its just society gone loose...so the biological factor plays at it more these days??!

what about todays solos just wanted babies because men are no longer good enough to play fathers (money might be one big factor, another can be just mixed up crazed sex that teens do now and they 'compensate' it by 'growing up' quickly by having babies...

???
 
there a saying in my town 'lay on your back and you get a flat'just wish some of the males ubderstood concept put a cap on it..
some of it is born lazyness expect those who go to work plan children properly are paying tax for those who dont give a fig.
some of it biological it age old question.

I am saying women where expected to be married by a certain age and have a family . My mother got married when she was 25 yo and her parents where getting worried as 25 yo was consider an old maid in 1940.
There are a lot factors why a woman will go solo , they may be able to made enough money on their own and do not feel that they need to be in a relationship to have baby and uses a sperms bank to have their baby.
Teenage girls have babies for all the wrong reasons , their best friend may be having a baby and they'll 'want one' too. Or they feel that no love them and a baby will love them. And a lot teenage girls get pregnant by an older man.
My best girlfriend got pregnant by an older man, she would not tell who the man was and I believe it was someone in her family . Uneducated crazy sex teens is a biological urge and sadly it does end up with an unwanted pregnancy . The one good thing about today is that people do not try to hind their pregnant daughters as much as they did in the 50s and 60's.

I have to say there are women that do it for the wrong reasons and just because they want one and then there's women like me. I've never really wanted a kid, never. Over the past year or so * around when I hit 26 * I started having this EXTREME urge to get pregnant. I don't really want kids... I don't. I'm 20 freaking 6. I have NO desire to sacrifice the rest of my life to taking care of someone else at this point in time... but my body tells me otherwise. I seriously just feel it inside, it's impossible to explain... but every now and again I get this pit feeling and little voice that's like * Have a baby you know you want to get prego! * and I'm like HELL NO! but then I feel and hear it again and again... Never happened before... but like I said it's been crazy lately. -_- So yes, I think it's biological sometimes, other times I think it's women being greedy, selfish, immature and impatient. =P That is all. =P

Yah I understand completely! Lately I get the urge for a pet dog. It is really an intense thing from the deeps of my subconscious this repeating request. I resist it, I cannot arrange my life around a dog no matter how I want to. From one animal to another I tell ya it is ALL biology... smiles.
 
Both obviously. Our biological clock is ticking pretty strong at times. Most girls have made up their minds, but sometimes in certain social circumstances, we can decide otherwise. Depends on what hormonal cocktail is circulating in our bodies combined with some neurological fires being set and... (you get the picture).
 
LOL! I think the whole pushing that size object out of my vagina is keeping my clear of that curiosity... O.o Also, the whole you're stuck with that kid until you DIE! Just because they turn 18 doesn't mean they go away! NOPE! My brother is 30 living with my mother since he's been born! Mmkay, no thanks, I'd rather die.

i know a mommys boy who is NEARLY 50,,A 50 years old mommy's boy - unbelievable - and STILL LIVES at HOME with MOMMY...and 'runs the local deaf club' urghh..
this is the 'same sort of mentality' being parasitic of govt hand outs for their lifestyles, it shouldn't be allowed either but this should be in another thread...

LOL it should be a thread! lol! My brother is pathetic. He's a nice guy and everything... but dang man!

He always complains he doesn't have a GF. I'm like "Oh, the ladies can resist all that is you?!" Which part does it for them? The part where you don't have a car to pick them up in and need a ride everywhere, the part where you can only take them to McDonalds because you only get a tiny bit for unemployment and food stamps, or the part if they heaven forbid look past that where you tell them they can't come over past 10 because mom goes to bed! What a freaking idiot I swear it... I'm not a money grubber or anything like that, but I'm sorry if you plan on taking me to McDonalds on our first date, you already lost... Good day!
 
yer McDonalds is not a real restaurent, and THATS only for teenagers well even Tweens LOL

I loved the dancing baby on Alley McBeal =P Sometimes I always think I related to her because I picture things that happen to people when they made me super mad... lol! Never saw a random dancing baby like she did though... lol
