Bradley Manning found not guilty of aiding the enemy, guilty on other charges

As I clarified, he's in his 26th year.

Really, are we counting like 4-year-olds? "I'm four-and-one-half-almost-five!"

OK, he's a few months short of his 26th birthday. That doesn't put him any closer to going back to high school.

I understood your subsequent explanation; that just wasn't the way it was originally posted, that's all.

You didn't originally say "high school" and you used future tense, so I thought you could have meant some kind of training for LGBT people, like a vocational school for adults, or some kind of alternative to prison time. That's why I asked you to explain.

You should know about my English isn't great and I'm not very good with tense. I think you understand about what I means. Re-check my post - I fixed my grammar.

He's 25 years, 8 months old now - 4 months to left until 26th Birthday. My birthday is on December 20 and I'm not 26 years old yet. I don't say that his birth date is related to high school. It has absolutely nothing with high school - I corrected your mistake about his age.

Just to let you know, I wasn't picking on your English grammar. Since you posted about the LBGT school immediately after the post about Manning and prison, I assumed we were still on the same topic, that is, about where Manning was going to be sent, not where he went to high school.

Bradley Manning made very stupid decision to leak the classified information and his life is already ruined. I started my thought about he should went to LGBT school when he was teen - he was victim of bully and harassment - but that's not excuse to break the law.

I think Katelyn Hunt is worse than Bradley Manning.

Interesting timing; right after being sentenced to prison.

So, what does this do to his prison sentence?

I don't understand your question.
Do you think this decision will change how his sentence is carried out? Will he be in general population with the males as a transitioning female? Or will he demand to be put into a women's prison?

Do you think he wants to become a woman in order to avoid the general population?

Also, does he expect the government to pay for his treatments and possible surgery?

I'm curious if he will serves in solitary confinement or general population?
Good question.

It's not going to do anything to his sentence. He's still incarcerated for 35 years, maybe paroled in 10. Well, 7, due to the three years he has already served.

And because it's a medical/psychiatric need, he should get what he needs. There have been others in prison who have gotten hormones for the same reason. He has to go through some years of therapy as well as living as a female in the real world, and I think for that reason he wouldn't get sex assignment surgery until he's out of prison and has a better idea of life outside the bars as a woman.

No, it will not change his sentence and it is up to court to make decision about transfer to woman's prison.

I don't know.

I don't know.

I believe that inmates with gender disorder should place in separated housing.

I don't think that she would be necessarily safe in the general population.

She was dealing with this long before the trial, so I really doubt she's done it to avoid general pop.

Yes, that what I think.

I hopefully she will feel safe as possible in the prison.
