seriously, I was corrected on this as well, even the DOC will correct you...LMAO
 
There's a bunch of them all over in Rochester. Sometimes, there would be a few wandering around on campus at RIT. :)

Pretty cool! Seen many deer here in Iowa as well.
 
When I was a kid (1940s & 50s) in Southern Illinois we did not have any deer. Since then they have moved back in to the point of being hunted.
 
We have so many deers, we now have bow hunting for deer in the city. I believe restricted to certain parks, and some woods, from tree tops, shooting down.
 
A family of Deer used to come visit me ever so often when I lived in NC....they were really beautiful....perhaps they came to say "hello" to my Goat, chickens and Rabbits.....my dogs chased them off tho'....They still came back here and there...
