Happy Resurrection Day to you too, Reba. Happy Easter one and all :)

I'm Jewish and do not observe Easter but hope all had a nice or fun day doing what was fulfilling for them:wave:

Hope everyone's Easter was wonderful and the Easter Bunny did hop by...lots of Easter Egg Hunts for the kiddies where I live.....but my boys have outgrown that....*snif*....

Robin, my boys have outgrown that stuff but they will never outgrow being my kids. I still give them Easter "baskets" - but rather than a basket, it was a large reusable container with practical stuff in it as well as healthy snacks.

I DID throw in a package of peeps. And the plastic eggs were filled with $20 bills...

I thought we not allowed to post anything about religion .
We're not supposed to discuss religion.

This thread is just to say that I hope everyone had a blessed (happy) day on this day that many families and friends celebrate together.

No discussion is encouraged here. Let's just wish each other a good day of enjoying family get-togethers and traditions. :)

We had a nice time visiting at my daughter and son-in-law's house, with our two grandsons. We had cheeseburgers on the grill and other tasty items.

My husband and I went to a buffet restaurant for brunch. There was lots of good food, and our waitress was a somewhat elderly woman wearing bunny ears...

She seemed cheerful, so I guess it was her choice. :)

My younger grandson (16) still gets a "basket"--it's tan camouflage fabric and filled with little sausages, cheeses, mustard jars, and some candy.

The boys didn't make colored eggs but they made deviled eggs with a feta cheese filling (they love experimenting with recipes).

Guess she had the spirit....and was a good conversation piece for the Kiddies....plus "tips" maybe?...I searched into my closets and found a "buble-gum pink" top to wear....and one of my boys got a wad of cotton balls and taped it to his butt...hopping around saying..."Here comes Peter Cotton Tail"....:giggle:

Maybe you are right about the tips! It did work on us. I hope she got a lot.
