Anyone else ready for Spring??

I'm freezing. Enough! I want Spring to be here!

No I love winter, but I live in California.:) We already have too many mosquitos .
 
Spring cannot come soon enough for me. I get scared driving on highway after hearing of all those icy road accidents. Please bring on Spring!!!
 
Pauxatauny Phil just predicted an early spring!
But first some snow this week.
 
Even better would be to just skip winter. I do appreciate the changes of the other seasons though.

Part of it is that there is no regular "Play in it" advantage to winter in Southern Illinois. I have been told by some that moved here from up north that it isn't cold enough. We often wind up so close to freezing the snow partly melts and then when driven on turns to ice which is even slicker.
 
Spring? I'm still waiting for winter. We haven't had one yet.

We had a couple of cold snaps. This is the 2nd year that we had a very warm winter. It already feel like spring. My allergies is going haywire!

Haha angel, you live only 20 minutes for me and I think you're crazy. Lol even if we do live in California, in the part where we live its cold, wet, and soggy all winter long. Of course, the 20 min away that Ilive is up the hill so iit's colder here where I am thankful where you are, but not by too much. It's gets into the 20s almost everynight this winter . I a most definitely ready for spring! Lol

With so many below zero days and blizzards, yes I am very ready for spring.

My new iris colored Crocs are here, and I have two t-shirts and two pairs of shorts on the way, so I am ready!
 
In southern CA, we get 2 climates - summer, summer, summer, & spring.
 
Yea, it's in the 20's here in Boston. I'm certainly ready for spring as I miss riding my bike. I could ride it now, but I don't ride much in the dead of winter.

Here, people go out running when it's in the teens. *brrrrrrr*

Same here in SC Lowcountry. We had a few cold, windy days and nights but not much. We used our wood stove once. In bloom, daffodils, forsythias, azaleas, cherry tree, and tulip tree. Downside--pollen.

We have had many, many nights in the 20's but summer we have many, many days over 100. So right now I am loving this weather!!! I like to cuddle with my little dog and have a hot cup of tea. The only time I enjoy our summers is when and if we go out boating. I thought you lived in Sacramento???

I can totally understand the people who have all that snow but Californias weather is terrific.:wave:
 
No, I am not ready for more pest and bugs! I want longer freedom from stupid mosquitoes and other pests that don't know how to leave humans alone.
 
Im ready I'm ready I'm ready.

Can't complain too much though, I've hardly even ran the heat this year. But I like it hot. I lived in the Philippines for 3 years when I was kid, it was summer all year, the seasons were rainy and dry, but even the rain was warm. it was AWESOME!!!

No thanks we have enough here. There is a golf course one street away and they like all the water. One day I went out to get the mail and stopped to talk to a neighbor. Later that night I had seventeen mosquito bites. I hate them but they love me:laugh2:
 
It is 64 degrees right now, sunny and warm but I can see the snow in the Sierras from the top of my street. Love it!!!!
 
I really don't mind Winter that much as I am use to it but I like the warm weather, not the hot weather. I get tired of Winter having lots of snow, kept on snowing some more. I am not looking forward to bugs and mosquito in the Spring. I could hardly wait to go back to New Mexico to get rid of bugs and mosquito. There is none in the Southwest. So that is good. But if there is water fill in the hole or cans or wheelbarrow, then that is where the mosquito come from. So make sure there is no standing water being filled up outside. ;)
 
I am enjoying winter right now. I enjoy having 4 seasons after spending most of my life in the middle of a desert.
