No, he can't leave the country due to GPS monitoring device (on his ankle?).
Someone with excellent hacking skill could make GPS stay in same location as someone flee.

I don't think so.Someone with excellent hacking skill could make GPS stay in same location as someone flee.

Meh, I don't know that his credibility is hurt by this. Not in my IMO anyway. But that really doesn't matter....his credibility can only be addressed if he takes the stand. And as you have posted in other threads....you don't believe he will take the stand. Corey charged Murder 2....she has a lot of hurdle to meet her burden. Guess we will see what happens.
Still trying to shift focus on non issues are we? Bail is denied if someone poses a flight risk, so, did Zimmerman leave the country when he could?
The issue was money: At a bond hearing April 20, Zimmerman's wife, Shellie, had testified under oath that the couple didn't have any savings. In reality, they had more than $135,000, with more flooding in from supporters who were making contributions via a website Zimmerman set up after he shot and killed Trayvon Martin in Sanford Feb. 26.
After the hearing Friday afternoon, O'Mara said he would try to schedule a bond hearing next week and intends to call Zimmerman — and perhaps his wife — to the stand to explain their actions.
Michael Grieco, a South Florida defense attorney and former Miami-Dade prosecutor, said Zimmerman's wife may have exposed herself to contempt-of-court or perjury charges.
De la Rionda would not say Friday whether he planned to pursue perjury charges. It will be up to the judge to decide whether contempt charges are warranted.

uuuummm actually it's an issue and it's certainly not about racism. he was facing a possible revocation due to his credibility issue.
and now it's been revoked because Judge Lester was clearly not happy to see that Zimmerman and his wife may have misled the court about their financial status.
George Zimmerman bond revoked - Orlando Sentinel
So .... why didn't he skip town when he could?
Why did he turn himself in when he didn't have to?
Prosecutor is full of bull puckey.

I notice the CBS link says they returned to Florida . I didn't know he was allowed to leave the state.
During the bond hearing, O'Mara asked the judge about that because of GZ's safety. The judge said it would be discussed privately in his chamber with both the prosecutor and him after the hearing. It's possible that he allowed it afterward.I notice the CBS link says they returned to Florida . I didn't know he was allowed to leave the state.

So, he didn't pose a flight risk
that translates into - the prosecutor had nothing but smoke and mirrors, and the media is making issues out of non issues .... again.
The judge felt differently. I have no opinion on his decision, other than he most likely had more facts to work with than I do.
I think they call it reporting.
They told us that he had two passports, and he had his bail revoked. I gotta say, if the tables were turned, and this 17 year old black male was the shooter, you would have been screaming foul if he was even granted bail in the first place.
So, he didn't pose a flight risk then. Turned himself in for the second time. The prosecutor just publicly made a moot point. That makes me glad.
The judge even announced his passport was a non-issue. It would be like losing a driver's license and ordering a new one. Why is the media making it one?
So the issue then is the money, right?
I remember the bond hearing. They asked his wife about that money. She said she didn't know what the exact amount was, but her brother did, and asked if the prosecutor would like to call him. The prosecutor declined to call the brother.
Also assuming it was a standard account, they would have not let him have it till they made sure it was legal money and then only $500 a month till he setup a commercial account.

Speculative.
