Pet Peeves

That dogs live such short lives compared to humans.

TV channels put advertisement banner over top captions!!!!!! Grrrrr!!!!!

Or when captions overlap the actors' faces so as to not cover up the logo of the channel on the bottom right of screen or channel advertising popups. Really annoying.

These are pet peeves my kids do..

1) Hovering over me while I am cooking. (Stay out of the Kitchen!)
2) Leave one million dirty glasses on the counters (Pick a glass and drink from the same one, Its only tea!)
3) Leaving the cabinet doors open. ( It's easier to do than opening it)
4) Constantly opening the fridge to look what's in it. ( Nothing changed, It is the same as it was 5 minutes ago)
5) Leaving stuff lying around (simply just pick up after yourself)
6) Knocking on the door when I go to the bathroom.. (Yes, they are teenagers and still feel the need to interupt my bathroom time)

I can not wait til they have kids!! :)

We have the same kids. :giggle:

Number ONE pet peeve...
At work, when I use the phone (VCO), and any employees will back away cuz I'm busy with phone. When I use VP and signing to someone, employee walked in my office and start talking to me!!! So, I posted a sign on the back of the VP: "See me signing? Go away!"

Good one!

This pet peeve is more due to my OCD, but I hate having my canned goods and spices out of order and the labels turned around. Leave the labels so I can read them and don't put things in the wrong place please!

Just like medicine bottles. Leave them in the order they are placed ans don't move them around on me. I will sometimes come out in the middle of the night and get either Tylenol or Excedrin ans do not want to turn on the light.

You would have so hated the house I stayed in in alabama. it was my boyfriend's dad's house and it was top to bottom clutter, and no place to put anything away. Especially since the dad and boyfriend's sister were both kind of hoarders and would just aimlessly leave junk everywhere. Kinda drove me nuts.

Pet Peeves????

I have them, you know you have them, lets talk about them!

One of mine is when I am driving, or even not driving the person in front of me has a NEVER ENDING BLINKER on.... lol :giggle:

I was just thinking about starting (or searching for) a forum on Pet Peeves.

One of mine is people not pushing their chairs in when they leave the table.

People who never consider how what they do affects others. You know, the type that HAS to leave their grocery cart in the middle of the isle while they look at something else. People that park in handicapped spaces "just for a minute". People who leave clothes all over the dressing room after trying them on.

When there are multiple mothers pushing prams and they decide to take up the entire pavement by walking side by side. Cmon! You don't own the sidewalk! I've missed a few trains because of this.

Also, when I am somewhere ordering food and they are making your food in front of you. ie: Subway They cough into their hands because they are covering their mouth and then TOUCH THE FOOD.. I've walked out of Subway when seeing this before.

People who rain on other people's parade. You tell them you're so excited your daughter is getting married and they tell you that's great, they hope it lasts longer than their own marriage did (their marriage ended ten or fifteen years ago, so it's not like it's a fresh wound) and start talking about their sad lives as singles.
You tell them you found a great buy at a thrift shop, and they tell you why they hate thrift shops instead of just saying, "that's great," and changing the subject.
You tell them somebody in the family is finally having surgery to fix a problem that has been bothering them a while and they tell you "i hope they don't die, I knew somebody who had that surgery and died."
You tell them you won some prize and they go all glum and whine that they wish they could win something sometime, they never get anything.
No matter what your good news is, their response is to find a connection between your good news and something sad about them.

I am guilty of that. I can not hear my blinker clickly click... My kids say... Mahhh!! The blinker still on. Since they can hear it.

facebook pet peeve, when you are chatting w someone and they suddenly stop typing. It's so annoying!
