A turtle necklace. My husband got on one knee with what I thought was a ring box and popped it open tada! turtle necklace and I loved it so much I forgot my other gifts... I had a turtle necklace for the longest time until my youngest daughter broke it last year and I know it sounds strange but I have felt different without it. I guess I am weird but I have some sort of kindrid spirit thing going on with turtles. back story when we were first told that I couldn't have babies the first thing my husband did was he went out bought me a turtle and all the works, it was my baby (subsitute lol). Ever since then I have now gotten a turtle tattoo I almost named my last baby Ridley because I love turtles so much (crazy I know).... Sorry for the back story but that is why I am so upset.

All this talk about turtles now I am getting tons of ads for turtle stuff lol. I actually lost the stone out of it that was supposed to be the shell so my first reaction was dear lord which kid swallowed it. Lol hopefully not but I will have to look all over the house again tomorrow.
 
I teach my 9 year old nephew Ty how text...now he text me literally all day every day. Including texts like "auntie why it take you so long reply just me? Huh? What you doing?"

Next time I see him, I need program more numbers his phone so he have ther people he can text too!
 
Well, I just can not wait til the kids go back to school. I have to go grocery shopping again. Seems like they eat 10x as much now than they did last summer. Winter munchies perhaps?

I'm a mom of two sons, one is 18 and the other 20. They eat 24 hours a day during holidays because they have the free time to do so! that's when I start using coupons more as a hopeful attempt to save some money.

I have a 16, 14, 13, and 12 year old in the house for winter break. Last Monday I bought a bag of oranges, apples, few bunches of bananas, a couple of coconuts and a pineapple. They were out by yesterday. The leftovers from Christmas dinner was gone the day after. Cereal is gone. Milk gone.

One of them asked me what is for lunch? I said I dont care you guys fix it. LOL they Cooked breakfast themselves. Scrambled eggs, sausage and biscuits.
 
Already at 6 years old, my son is an eating machine. Can't imagine what it will be like when he is a teenager! Lol

It's hilarious when teens say there's nothing to eat when your fridge is full of fresh foods. Apparently anything that is not already premade is not real food. hahaha...fruits are so expensive if you have that many kids - I opt for the cheapest fruits, mainly apples and focus more on "eatables" - like chips and salsa sauce, large blocks of cheese, granola bars in bulk, lots of cheap and affordable cereal (like Corn Flakes) and milk, and of course lots of bread.
