My younger grandson did that, too. Cooked the meat on a stick over a camp fire. He said it was OK but he wouldn't want more.... I have killed squirrel and ate it. not so bad.

Depends on how its prepared but yeah it has a different texture to it for sure.
Then again, I have had it in stew and it actually falls apart and quite tender like chicken.

I will never eat horses but the idea of other people eating it especially if it is made legal here. That will take a long time to get used to. lol
