I was willing to be open minded until I had the details. Grabbing a woman's crotch is criminal assault. What an asshole.
 
Five women, now. Watching world news. One of the original victims went public with an interview with the NY Times. May be a joint press conference with all 5 women.

Finally .... one would wonder about the timing. Since Cain's ratings have gone up since the initial accuser came forward, maybe they will go up exponentially now.
 
This is what happened to one woman. She met him at a restaurant, where he grabbed her crotch. When she said that she had a boyfriend, he said "Do you want a job?" You can't be much more of an asshat than that.

I am sad for America that so many of our potential leaders are either guilty of this stuff, or accused of this stuff. Either way, it saddens me. There will be no winners here. If these women are all trying to smear this man, I hope they are fully punished for it. If any of them are telling the truth, I hope Cain gets more than just a lost ticket to the White House. He deserves jail.

I demand justice for the non-guilty, whoever it might be.

When "sheeple" build a shrine to a politician, there is nothing that can deter them. Can you imagine if he were to become President, despite being proven guilty? It would be...like France!

In order to believe that Cain is telling the truth, one has to believe that all 5 of these women, beginning in the late 90's with the formally filed complaints, are lying. What are the chances that all 5 women, over a span of what? 14 years? are lying? I don't think we really need to run probability stats on that one.

I was thinking the same thing. The enemies of the Republicans aren't that legion!

Extremely unlikely. Yet, I reserve judgment for now. I know that his lack of experience would keep my hand away from his icon on Election Day, so it really doesn't matter to me about the end result in relation to his political career. I do want the lying party/parties to be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. I will not find him guilty until the court does, but it ain't looking good right now.

Right. And the first complaints were filed in 1997. Did they have a crystal ball that told them he was going to seek the Repub nomination for this election?

I will be stunned if it ever does. Most likely a bunch of hurt will be had before this all blows over.

In the spirit of predictions. I predict Cain will drop in the polls and will contemplate dropping out of the race (though I doubt his ego will let him actually drop out).

The "details" are still just a claim. Being a lawyer yourself, surely you don't believe every claim you hear.

Was this recorded? Were there witnesses to the event? If so Cain is soooo sunk.
 
The very fact that a man would demand a video before accepting the reports of 5 women over a period of 14 years is a disgusting show of sexism.
