Fight amongst yourselves. It's obvious I'm not welcome here.

We advocate for the Deaf. We want deaf children to have the best educational opportunity possible. We want you to understand. We know that not everybody is ready to hear our message, but if you have a deaf (or HOH) child, there really isn't time to wait for you to be ready.

Perhaps you need to step back, find a Deaf mentor, get some perspective.

We will still be here if you decide to come back. Our message won't change though.

I don't speak for everyone here (we all speak for ourselves), but I believe my message is consistent with the majority of the Deaf on this forum.

People can certainly see me more than they see you.

Your narcissistic and condascending attitude is incredibly sad. I really do feel sorry for you, in spite of your incessant attacks.

What...from that pic in your avatar? I wouldn't call people's attention to that if I were you.:cool2:

Check the dictionary.

Your audist attitude and consistent attempts to tell the deaf what is best for them is disgusting. You really must lean toward self abusive behaviors. Everyone around here has let you know just exactly what they think of you, and yet you keep coming back for more.

The victim card really does not carry weight around here. Just ask FJ and CSign. They try to play it all the time. And it doesn't work.

If you are really interested in learning so you can help a deaf child, you need to stop listening to the people you are listening to, and start paying more attention to what the Deaf are telling you.

Not one time, have I ever told "the deaf" what to do, nor have I told parents of DHH children what to do.

You clearly have a skewed perception of what an Audist really is, as I am the furthest thing from one.

There absolutely is a group of individuals here who don't like me because we chose to use SEE in the beginning. That includes you. However, there are a number of other people who think quite the opposite of you and your minions.

I personally know many ADers in here (yes I've met them in person and I've VP'ed with them) and I know for sure that they see Jillio more than you.

stop lying.

Oh, and thanks for insulting the way I look ;-) at least I'm not too scared to post a real pic of me instead of some goofy avatar.

Your BS doesn't bring me down honey. I'm confident in who I am.

Listen, I'm not listening to anyone besides the audiologist and therapist. You refuse to believe that because apparently I have the same last name as some chick in some tv movie and apparently sound a lot like someone you apparently don't like. Sorry. I've prestented pictures as evidence and answered every question you have asked, it is obvious that you rather believe I'm some poster who apparentley got under your skin at some point. I'm done. It's beyond ridiculous.

no.... but what you do is dropping breadcrumbs leading to your gingerbread house.

I'm more than willing to meet you and your daughter in person for some cheesesteak. or Dutch Amish food. Like I said before - I frequent to Philly.

No fair. I like cheesesteak more than anyone! :aw:

You must have DID and another personality is coming out and posting all these things you claim never to have done.:laugh2:

There is a large group of people here that don't like you because you are audist, pretentious, and disagreeable.

If there are others that think differently, they don't belong to AD. With the exception of two I can name.:laugh2:

My minions. What? The Deaf can't think for themselves? Nice way to insult. You are just pissed because they don't welcome you with open arms and tell you what a wonderful parent you are and how well you are raising your deaf child. Get over yourself. Your jealousy is unbecoming. To date you have done everything you possibly could to prevent your being accepted into the Deaf community, and still continue to do it. Yet, instead of realizing you are the one at fault, you just keep blaming others. It really is sad to watch someone come back day after day thinking that today, they will get what they so desperately want, but be unwilling to change what prevents it.

until your kid tells you that he hates SEE 10 years later.

I can't believe this thread is still going...it's like the Energizer Bunny.

You are very welcome. You seem to enjoy throwing out insults so much, I thought you should have one in return. The Deaf here picked that avatar for me. You just don't know when to shut up. How much more foot can you get in your mouth?:laugh2:

Showing your ignorance again. I have posted my picture several times on AD. Hey, Jiro...want to tell her who I look like?:laugh2:

No, you are not confident, you are egotistical. There is a big difference.:cool2:

Just keep talking. You are confirming it more and more.

How many times have you said you're done now?

There are distinct advantages to having diversity in any group. And especially in one such as ours. Although I advocate for the teaching and use of ASL, I don't want everyone thinking just like me. How dull and boring that would be. Instead, I think having the opportunity to argue my case/point of view sharpens my skills in advocating ASL. I'm not as good at it as some others, I sometimes sit on the sidelines, but I don't want to be silent and I do want to speak for myself.

I also don't think there is much constructive comments I can add to this thread. It's already boiled down and is in great risk of spinning out of control.

I just want to publicly state that I am sad that HAM is leaving without opening her mind to the possibilities we are promoting. I choose to believe that this poster is genuine and her child is in need. I'm not saying we should lower our defenses. But by my count this thread is a total loss. We all lose.

But...CUED SPEECH????
That is a bit much, even from you.
Why not ASL?

Cued speech? I remember it was all the rage in 2nd grade. One year later, no one used it in class and my mother only used cued speech when I couldn't understand her. I stopped using it for good in 4th grade.

I appreciate your position. My opinion is that it was a loss before it got started. As were a couple of others that started yesterday.
