I use Firefox...I'm not dumb!!

Yeah, I use Chrome and Firefox. You see, the problem is that many companies and Libraries use IE. Ugh. What can ya do about it, eh?

I use Firefox and I do not like it! I am not sure how to get rid of it and use something else.

 old but good

Well, try Chrome or Safari.

Chrome takes the top of the cake these days imo. Opera is the new challenger, I like it a lot.

Firefox has the major benefit of having the most extensions.

Does using three web browsers I use make me smarter? Lol

I'm having issues with firefox lately. That dang adobe flash! It always crashes. It forced me to download another browser- Chrome. I am impressed with it already. I haven't tried Opera yet.

Really. Did you upgrade it for free to see if you like it better? If still no, then find another browser that you might like.

Just search for browser subject on the internet that has some list of good software.

Oh really. That's something new to me now.

You want to know why firefox is losing popularity over tech enthusiasts?

IE8 has the worst memory management of all the browsers, firefox is only marginally better. Except the two still fail at one major thing, they clump it all into one individual process. The reason to why Chrome loads better with multiple websites and flash related, is because it divides the task process into more than one instance. In turn, each tab/website is handled much more adequately, especially if you're on a multi-core processor these days.

IE9 is getting better though, they've stopped eating the glue and started to realize what they need to do. Still has some quirks it needs to address.

I only use Chrome.

Love it!

My only complaint about Chrome would be, and this probably applies to none of you: I'm a website admin and I do alot of CMS-based website updating. There is a feature on one of the CMS sites I work on that applies per-hit tracking for music, and the link (or the ability to even insert the link) does NOT work in Chrome. So whenever I have to work with that one particular section, I have to go to IE. Pain-in-the-ass. Tried working with the website developers on that issue and we can't seem to resolve it, so I just go to IE for that one thing. Maybe Naisho knows what I'm talking about here ..

What if he doesn't?

 It wouldn't be a problem. I just figured with all his website work he might've possibly come across a similar issue.

Probably. I still haven't figured out how to drag links onto my Yahoo IM Messenger. Arghh. :giggle:

lol! I now use four web browsers - IE, Firefox, Chrome & Opera. Only started using Opera a month or two ago, but was quickly impressed by it and it's now my default browser, knocking Firefox off its perch. I didn't realise it until I started using Opera, but basically Firefox copies most of its good ideas from Opera. And Firefox 5 has been a TOTAL disaster as it regularly crashes my PC which not even IE manages to do!!!

Chrome was brilliant, but each new version gets bulkier and slower in my experience. I still use it loads as I'm a paid up Google fanboy, but if you want a slick web surfing experience, then try out Opera.

I'm using Firefox and LOVE IT. Haven't tried Chrome and absolutely LOATHE IE.

Explorer was always crashing for me and freezing. It was a pain to use. I finally got mad enough one day to switch, and I refuse to go back to Explorer. I still keep it on here for websites not compatible with FF, but, I rarely use it now.

I use Firefox on the Windows 7 PC and netbook, and Safari on the MacBookPro. I keep an IE shortcut on my desktop for the few on-line sites that require it but it's been a long time since I've used it.

My neighbor still does everything thru AOL.
