What did you learn today?

I learned that Verizon will allow me to move my number from my parent's plan onto its own account without paying a termination fee only I would have to sign an agreement that I am accepting responsibility of the contract. HOWEVER I cannot upgrade until September 2nd. No point in doing anything until then. FAIL (as usual). The more I run in circles with them, the more I am considering the AT&T option.

Go Virgin Mobile for only $25 a month.

Sadly, we do not have Virgin Mobile here. The only carriers in this area are Verizon, AT&T, and Sprint. We used to have Alltel and Cingular but they were bought out by larger phone companies.

I learned that I'm a crazy cat mom.

Wait. I knew that already!

I'd like to buy a house, plant a garden and have my very own chicken. In the Hilltop neighborhood. Yeah. That would make me happy. Also, I want a greyhound that gets along with my chicken.

Wow. Snoopy town officials. We used to have water rationing in El Paso, but I thought Florida was wet.

This may just be my lack of knowlege really showing. Why do you even have water rationing? Is this common in Florida?

Florida is very dry and we do have a lot of wild fires. Water restrictions have been in effect here for many years. Even where I live, we have no water hose connectors (outside), not allowed BBQ grills, either...Not allowed to wash our cars on the property, very stringent rules...What I do when watering my flower gardens is hook up the hose to the washing machine connection....shhhh!....(as many other tenants do too)...Even tho' I live on the River..oh well!...River water is good for my plants, the boys grab a bucket of it occasionally for me. But I don't leave any standing water (in buckets or containers) outside as it breeds mosquitoes.

You are the one paying for the water yet they dictate how you can use it? Dayum.

reusing gray water is the BEST way to make best of your situation. nothing to SHHH about. water from laundry, sinks, showers is best for flowers, grass. just don't use whatever comes out of toilet. LOL!

DO you have rainbarrels hookups from downspouts of gutters? as long its not used for drinking and has a lid to keep mosquitoes out.

I learned that if you see a statue of a person on the horse you should notice the feet of the horse.

If the front feet are in the air, the person died in battle. If just one foot is in the air the person died of wounds received in battle. If all four feet are on the ground, the person died of natural causes. Interesting.

We have had a massive drought and the lake is down again. We may live on the coast, but we don't get a whole lot of rain. Lake Okeechobee helps to feed a lot of the waterways that provide a lot of our water. There have been a lot of brush fires recently as well and that takes a lot. Florida as a whole had been very dry for the last 5-8 years from what I hear. If we have a flooding rain where the water will sit for 2-3 inches, it just soaks into the ground, or the sun dries it out first.

One time the power went out in my house and I had to use the flash on my camera to see my way around. I made a sandwich and took fifty pictures of my face. The neighbors thought there was lightning in my house.

 By now do you at least have a cell phone so you can use it like a flashlight?

One of my daughters has a little animated burning candle on her phone screen when it is on. Very useful and cute.

Were you naked? Cause I like to be naked when making sandwiches.

:dunno:

The battery was dead :(

have you ever had a dream within a dream?

One night I dreamed that I walked home very late and fell asleep in somebody's satellite dish.

My dreams were showing up on TV's all over the world.
