AT&T buys T-Mobile

Bye bye T-mobile.
Now Verizon gonna by Sprint?

Oh, no! Me and my BB just recovered from the T-Mobile buy out of Suncom. Now I'll have to switch again. :(

Well, the coverage will improve next year when the acquirement will close. umm... All tmobile customers still need improved signals because of tmobile coverage's horrible.

Not really, you can keep BB longer whatever you want.

Verizon buys Sprint is your biggest nightmare due to victim from fraud.

I hope the support and prices will be the same.

When my BB boots up, the screen still says "Suncom."

Yeah, I don't want them.

Actually Verzion and Sprint would be a better match because they use similar technology which is CDMA while AT&T and T-Mobile uses GSM-standard which will allow AT&T to share the T-Mobile cell towers to increase coverage. I have heard that T-moible is already shuting down some T-Mobile kiosks in malls.

T-Mobile and AT&T use the same frequencies for GSM-EDGE (2G), but they have different frequencies for 3G (GSM-HSPA/UMTS). T-Mobile can't get iPhone 5 this year and AT&T-Mo may get iPhone 6 for LTE next year.

Well, Talking about Sprint, in CNN Market report:
"Shares of AT&T's smaller competitor Sprint Nextel (S, Fortune 500), which had been reported to be in talks with Deutsche Telekom, fell 16% -- making it the worst performer on the S&P 500."

I hope they keep their word.

I guess that's something good. :)

Yes, your package will remind same on price and plan. That happen to me when I had AT&T Wireless change into Cingular then change back to at&t Wireless. My plan was remind same on Nokia 8200 series.

Looks like AT&T will have a red hot competition with Verizon ahead of time.

Tmobile and AT&T have different band for 3G networks. 1700 vs 1900/850 MHz. That is why you cant use a 3G Tmobile phone on a AT&T network and it will not work.

I'm not interest to buy T-mobile! My family use AT&T phone all the time but my mom would not buy t-mobile me neither!
