Maybe set up a Paypal account that is strictly for relief donations. Everyone sends something in, whatever they feel is right or what they can afford. Then when we have reached a goal or deadline for donations, Alex can then have the money transferred to a relief fund stating that the money was donated on behalf of the members of AllDeaf.com Discussion Forums or something like that. Think of it like a community service project that the group is involved in.

Setting up a new PP account takes a few days (for bank account registry.) So maybe email Alex?

I don't have a PP account any longer, but I think (somebody correct me if I'm wrong) I can pay via CC into a PP account, right?
 
I did it again! I was in a room full of deaf people and I didn't even feel like talking to any of them. So I avoided contact, got my hair done, and practically ran out of there.

What the hell is the matter with me?!!! Geez!!!

pfh :Forgot to tell you Phillip C McGraw Ph D is an avid tennis player and NOT a swimmer as I am. Also, so far, I am NOT baldHeaded yet. I have a cat. Professor SKY and he has a dog name Maggie. I am not an author while he is. He has a Ph D while I don't. I am bilaterally deaf he isn't.

I went to the gym after work and decided to challenge myself. I did curls using 30 lbs weights. WHOA! My arms are still shaking. I want them TONED STAT!

Maybe you need time to yourself? Sometimes, I do that for myself and on the days that I have set aside for that, if my deaf friends contact me to get together, I say no.

sometimes, I see groups of deaf people at places but usually, I dont go up to them because I just wasnt in the mood for "small" talk.

The President had just spoken about the nuclear crisis in Japan. It was short and brief but he reiterated that the US is offering help to Japan as well as to Americans in Japan who wish to return to the States.

He also said that he is saddened and deeply concerned about the situation in Japan. He did not answer any questions from reporters and instead walked back into the White House.
 
Hard to "retire" from being retired! I understand a "quiet existence" in the "hereafter", Not to be philosophical , of course. Off to work- shortly- BEAT Mr Clock!
